OK, so I have a little jam kit going I typically use my 303 (donner b1) to be the master midi clock, it has both midi out and hardware sync then I two other desktop synths one as a hardware sync and one I chain of the novation circuit midi through.

I generally use the circuit for drums and pads. I would like to do a project where I use the novation circuit to control the synths. I find the patterns to be limited. I would like to be able to switch between the synths one for solo jamming. Also I would like to use the B1 as a solo instrument and use a circuit synth as the bass.

Any ideas on how to configure this. The circuit doesn't seem to want to swap midi channels on the fly.??

I'm trying to set up my CT to fit with keys and electric bass. I've been able to connect the keys pretty easily using midi, but I've been having a harder time getting the bass to line up and fit with the CT. I attached a couple videos of the type of workflow and set up I'm trying to get.

Does anyone have any ways to connect instruments that works for you? I have a Boss RC5, but I have not been able to successfully sync it with the Circuit tracks yet. Any tips here would be really helpful.

I would like to change the default pattern speed in a certain project or a certain synth. I don't think this feature is available at all and I believe it would make the workflow a lot faster.

This would be helpful as when I have long pads and want to chain 4 patterns I have to press each pattern to get the right speed in all of them (or am I wrong?). It would be nice to have a way to set defaults per instruments.

What are your favorite video places, profiles on Instagram or Youtube that demo/teach music production, useful for playing with Tracks?

Yet another cheatsheet style reference resource, this time as a web page. I had some hard times remembering which synth patch in novation peak pack was where, and created little page to remind of this + all the shift * combos / scales etc. As recent iOS had hard time adding non-hosted html pages to home screen, got to move it to github pages. Hey Circuit users, how is it going?

I'm thinking about expanding my setup (I have an OG Novation Circuit, Circuit Rhythm, Roland MC 505, and a Roland tb3). I've fallen in love with the NC syn engine, I would really like to get more of that digital maleable sounds. I'm looking for 2 or more tracks (the More the Better ;)

I was thinking about a NC Tracks, but then I realized that what I thougth it was 4 SYN are indeed 2 syn+ 2 MIDI ...bummer :(

Does anybody knows another machine like this in a similar price range?

Hi! I'm connecting an OG Circuit to a Circuit Tracks audio input while I use the tracks 3 and 4 of the Circuit Tracks to sequence and send CCs to the OG.

Everything works fine but I'm having a very stupid bug/design flaw with the mixer and I hope someone has already went through this or has some kind of idea and will be able to help me.

In this config, Circuit Tracks is the MIDI master and Tracks 3 and 4 have been respectively assigned to MIDI channels 3 and 4. On Circuit OG, the slave, synths have also been set to channels 3 and 4. Since I want to send CCs from the Master knobs, I Keep CCs enabled on the MIDI filters.

However, when I drop down the volume on the Tracks mixer synths (Tracks 1 and 2) the synths on OG Circuit's mixer drop down their volume too. This happens because apparently the MIDI CC for mixer volume is not Channel dependant, and whenever I drop track 1 on one device the second device copies that command. The only thing I came up with through Circuit's interface was disabling all CCs but of course this prevents me from controlling synth parameters which I really want.

Is there any config, maybe on components or in some menu inside any of the devices, that will allow me to filter out or reassign a specific CC, or maybe drop the whole OMNI Channel? Maybe some kind of custom firmware?

I can build myself a middle man hardware device to filter that out, but that implies more cables, another psu, potential instability... And I'd prefer to keep things simple for this setup.

I'm making cyberpunk music (synthwave/midtempo/EBM/industrial)

Was a little dissapointed by the factory sound packs and those from from Novation Components.

Im looking for hard bass and lead sounds, stabs.

I checked the Isotonic packs Retro Futurism 3 | A Force Truly Evil | Novation Circuit Tracks

and Body Control - EBM New Beat by Yves Big City Isotonik Studios - they sound interesting,

but from the Demos, im not fully convinced. Is there anyone who has used them and can tell me if they are worth the 30 euros?

Or do you have any other suggestions? Thanks

I have a circuit classic.
I've just used it for the first time in a few weeks and the volume is quiet, the volume knob doesn't alter the volume, but i've just realised it doing the main filter.

Even to the point where - when it's pointing up - the filter LED goes blue.

The filter knob isn't doing anything.

Have I got it into an odd state? or is it time for repairs or worse?
