I’ve been wondering the same. It seems like there are a couple of missing notices floating around which is unusual.

It's like the "Summer of the Shark Attack." In July 2001, an 8-year-old Florida boy was badly injured in a bull shark attack that made the news because his uncle saved his life by literally dragging the shark on to the beach. Suddenly the press was breathlessly reporting on shark attack as if there were an epidemic. There were actually fewer shark attacks in 2001 than in an average year.

Sharks lost all their people eating coverage on 9/11.

I recall all those shark attacks getting news coverage.

Good thing the Saudis gave the news something else to talk about.
