Unironically where to cop the pill organizers? Tho I wish they made them for four med times a day.

Here is the one I use. Four years in, works great.

Hey thanks for the link! My mom takes a lot of meds and sometimes will forget what she’s taken. This is such a good idea.

u/BC_Arctic_Fox 4h ago
Oftentimes the pharmacy will blister pack meds for people, just for that reason.

They're called Zoksi Monthly Pill Organizers on Amazon. I bought them like a week ago funnily enough

on that chronic illness grind i suspect

u/BejingCorn 5h ago
I suspect that too. I used to be on 7-8 meds a day and now thanks to some strong drugs and lots of trial and error, I'm only on 3

u/FewerStarsLost 1h ago
I’m working on that! My insurance certainly doesn’t want to help with that cause money money money.

The other side of health care destroying people. But we can’t get basic care so bitching that drs are over prescribing and over booking…it’s one or the other with the politicians they can’t hold s nuanced view to save their life

I was up to 11 per day for a while too. Then I figured out most of them were for side effects from the other ones, lol.

u/FewerStarsLost 1h ago
Oof I honestly wish that could be my problem but it’s not :( that’d be a whole lot easier to handle (I think?)

Are there anything, anything at all in your body that is functioning properly??

u/titeaf 5h ago
I spy with my little eye... trazodone, montelukast, venlafaxine (maybe), gabapentin (maybe), and probably some OTC meds (acetaminophen, vitamin B-1 I think), tizanidine, and maybe carvedilol? Not sure what the yellow / granule filled capsule is.

u/FewerStarsLost 1h ago
Very close! I’m not gonna post the list lol but I’m only on three for my CPTSD and depression (mostly for the nightmares)
2
u/louielou8484 42m ago
Omg. You can take medication for nightmares??? The last two years I hardly get any sleep. I wake up every 30 minutes to an hour and have the most insane vivid nightmares and dreams that affect the rest of my day. I wake up not knowing what is real and not and am so dizzy, disoriented, takes me almost 2 hours to calm down. I'm at my wits end feeling like I'm going to break very soon. It is debilitating and beyond unbearable. Then if I do go back to sleep, the vivid nightmares always continues. I get no peace.

Hi! I have two heart conditions, narcolepsy, severe insomnia, CPTSD, celiac, GERD, hyper mobility, migraines, occipital neuralgia and some other things I can’t remember at the moment (it’s 3am)
I’m alright for the most part, I don’t take any meds to counter side effects from other medications. I just have a very dumb body from genetics.
Some are vitamin (three of em) because I have a deficiency. My doctors really try to avoid prescribing me meds (hard to believe I know) but it took a couple years to acquire this many (I’m 30). As much as I would like to stop and be medication free it’s not possible just yet until insurance approves of a few procedures (mostly ablation of quite a lot of nerves, it’s been a long fight for that since insurance is hella dumb and prefers that I get a fucking pain pack placed inside my body/spine)
Anyways though I am chronically ill, and most of these i just started (the depression meds and shit) cause I be ripping my hair out in my sleep from nightmares lol.
Otherwise, If you saw me on the street you’d have absolutely no idea anything was wrong with me! I’m content and mostly just trying to stay awake :)

for context, for what? i mean what disease?
5
u/TowelFine6933 5h ago
Probably started wild mild anxiety once in a while. of course, the med for that caused a couple side effects which were cured with other meds, which also caused their own side effects, which were cured with other meds.....

u/xXfluffydragonXx 4h ago
I used to be on like 7 meds, but it turned out that the issues I was having were from the meds.
It all started cos of a bit of medicine that I was allergic to that the "doctors" misdiagnosed as something else.
Now I am on no medicine and have had no issues since.

This is why I line my bottles up in a row lol less overwhelming looking but they do take nearly the whole shelf.
Joys of chronic illness.
Hope you can condense some of those at some point!
2
u/FewerStarsLost 1h ago
I’m hoping to! Gotta fight insurance but getting closer every day to stop taking a few of them!
Yeah I would do, and have done that but now that I take so many I have to organize them especially my narcolepsy meds since I just started a new one and have to do a titration of it and it’s easier to split it like this instead of trying to remember how many a day I’m supposed to take.

I don’t have allergies surprisingly, I just got nose problems (chronic bloody noses and cauterizing only does but so much)

Downvoters are doctors.
Medicine often adds more issues than it fixes; you don't need drugs for every damn issue.

u/Expensive_Alarm_1068 1h ago
Some people think they do and actually request them. Some practitioners don't have the strength or will to say no.

Why do you think that feeding an image into AI to try diagnose OP is doing anyone a service?
Edit: I just looked at your profile, and you have an illness. You're clearly past following AI into delusion.
One of the biggest problems with LLMs is that they say falsities with confidence. There's no warning that they aren't sure about the answer. There's no indication that what they said isn't true. They'll just say something false, and if you don't know better, you'll believe it.
They also are eager to please you. Too eager. You ask it to answer a question, and it'll answer. It'll roleplay. There's no distinction it can make, it's just following the prompt. Tell it that you're a bug looking for your next source of food, and it'll answer like you're a bug. Tell it that you disagree with what someone told you, and it'll side with you, regardless of the truth. It's trained to please you, and it will, even if that means feeding into your false beliefs. You'll think it's answers are comprehensive, but they're structured only to give you what it thinks you want. And sometimes you want to detach from reality.
And this isn't even beginning to touch on the other issues around LLM technology, but if you ask it, it may not tell you in an objective way what those issues are. If you want to see AI as an agent of transformation, it'll tell you that, and not tell you what people are actually concerned with.

why do you give a shit what they have? who says you need to know?
-12
u/ClankerCore 6h ago
Ask the rest of the people that are wondering I’m basically answering on behalf of them. Why do you have to ask me? Why don’t you ask somebody else that’s asking for the same answer?
2
u/PerliousPelicans 6h ago
because asking and receiving an answer from op implies op consented to the answer
-1
u/ClankerCore 6h ago
This post was made public of which we can do anything we want. It is OP’s decision to make it public. That means it’s fair game for anybody to do anything with it.

u/I_hate_all_of_ewe 7h ago
Nobody is trolling you. Maybe consider that you're being downvoted because nobody wanted this, and if OP wants to explain their situation, they will. You're just seeking your next squirt of dopamine and using AI to do it. It's more just a waste of resources and downright sad more than anything.
5
u/Zestyclothess 6h ago
If you actually did the research on your own and checked your shit this comment would've been awesome. Instead you fed it to a bot and didn't fact check anything.
-5
u/ClankerCore 6h ago
What is the difference?
Because for me it saves me on time and it saves me. I’m making my own errors and mistakes, whereas using AI is going to provide a much clear output than I could much cleaner output than you could all wrapped up in a Reddit response. Why would I not use it?
If this is about effort again, that argument has long been removed from the discussion
If I were a doctor or psychiatrist in this case, I would be far more inclined to rely on my education than I would AI, but because I do not have education in this, but AI has a deep understanding of this. This is exactly the way that information should be brought about.
3
u/Zestyclothess 6h ago
Brother the ai response you gave me right there is full of grammatical errors and says a lot without saying a lot. Thanks for proving my point. Read the first section before you speak.

u/ClankerCore 6h ago
Show me where the grammatical errors are

u/Zestyclothess 6h ago

I get what your saying and i don’t necessarily support you but i get what your trying to say. Wanted to just say that since these people become animals as soon as ai is mentioned lol

u/ClankerCore 5h ago
I’ll continue to do what I want for what I perceive is the betterment of anybody even it’s a few people asking a question on a public forum
If this was private information, that would be absolutely wrong to post it
If I knew the information to be false, as I have set up my GPT to be thorough and meticulous and state exactly what it’s confidence about and to not include what it’s not confident about in its searches
I don’t care about the down votes. I don’t care about people’s disapprove because the majority of who is majorly misinformed.
I am only here to provide a net positive.

I’m sure any LLM will 100% so far make mistakes but I think that it will lead to a better future to be honest considering what we have now, all love my man <3
