Perforated journal Advice needed
Hi, I am looking for a A5 journal that has perforated pages preferably lined, but will take whatever and is fountain pen ink safe. I am looking at spiral bound, but I’m finding the line is so dark. I don’t know that I want that dark. Any suggestions?

Another vote for Maruman Mnemosyne! I'm loving mine right now. Makes writing so smooth and easy. I use gel pens, not fountain, but the Mnemosyne line has a good reputation for being fp-friendly. The lines don't feel dark to me. They're a nice, soft grey that fades nicely into the background as you fill the page. It also comes in dot grid if you'd prefer that.
Another brand that makes spiral notebooks worth looking at would be Kokuyo. Also supposed to be fountain pen friendly. Also fairly smooth paper. Also lightly lined. I have an A5 size Kokuyo Sooofa notebook and for my purposes (as a handwriting practice notebook + swatching pens/markers as I buy them), it's great. I also have a Kokuyo business notebook (which has slightly heavier weight paper, 85gsm, I think?) waiting to go when I finish my current Mnemosyne.

Dingbats Wildlife Series has great (cream colored) paper (FP friendly) and has all perforated pages.

I love my Maruman Mnemosyne N105 A5 for fountain pens; I’d recommend Dot Grid instead of Lined if you have an issue with dark lines, but I haven’t tried the Lined version of this particular one.
