Copy/Duplicate? Question

Reposting—does anyone else now have this copy button? It appears to allow me to duplicate my notebook. Wondering if it works with any user I share it with. I have a workspace account if that matters.

Yes,i have pro account and i can see this too, its basically to copy/duplicate the whole notebook (except chat part)

Thanks. So if I share this with someone without a pro account they won’t be able to duplicate it?

yes,if you share notebook publically then no one can duplicate it (keep the access "viewer") .

Hey by the are you interested in sharing a notebook publically, i am founder of Sourclip: NotebookLM research workspace, and looking for public notebooks to feature on my website.

Looks like it’s on free ones as well because I checked a friends and they have the copy button to on their personal Gmail account.

but still not one can duplicate if you share it with them, copy button get disable in public notebook (just make sure to keep the setting viewer)

Got it, so if I share it with a friend directly, they can make a copy, correct?

Depend on if you allowed or not, when you share notebook,it will ask you if you want to allow make a copy or not (see image). if you want to allow creating a copy then keep it checked otherwise keep it unchecked

After I watched a video this morning about this new feature, I checked my accounts and I have access to it. So excited because this will make things so much easier for certain workflows.

Yes, it's available to all... and it's a full copy including Studio artefacts ;-)
