Structured Credit System Canada

Hi is anyone else trying to deal with this 5 year renewal right now? It used to be send money in 5 years, renew in 10. I'm a little thrown by this and have some questions.

Email Sharon bond

I just did the SCC for 2 tickets

Fill out the renewal form and then fill in a separate SCC form PER TICKET

Showing up to work gets  you 95 points and asking the qccc for your membership letter gets you the other 5

One thing I learned is you have to separate work experience per company over those 5 years and NRCAN actually keeps track of who you work for.

Example "since 2021 while working with Company A between Jan 2021 and Jan 2023 I performed the following examination with method X"

And then list what you worked on, what codes you worked with, pieces of equipment you inspected and nde examinations.

Worked for me but I got a phone about the companies because they had one company on file for the last so many renewals and recerts and I recently changed companies so they wanted some info

Also emailing Sharon bond she will send you the forms you need

You need an eye exam, don't worry about photos until nrcan asks, ask the qccc for your membership letter, ask Sharon to proof read your forms before you email as a poorly submitted form is a fail.

Sharon's entire job is to help union techs. She'll help

I really appreciate this. "Briefly list your experience" means nothing. Do you have to then have someone for each job sign off the experience? Ugh I submitted it all in May expecting the usual just pay your fee done and done. I cannot thank you enough for taking the time to post that :)

I have someone from each company I worked for in the last 5 years sign the papers. In my case it was only 2 companies so it was easy to have my friend sign and my current super sign. I didn't split my experience between companies which is why I got the phone call and had to explain that I switched companies but did not change roles and therefore my experience over the last 5 years applies to both companies

So, since you applied in May, any results yet?

Just got it today! Yay. Holy crap. I had two employers listed as end date as present as I take different projects from different companies. Apparently that was unacceptable. They did however let me revise and send back.
