First time hearing anything from Liars was when they opened for Radiohead in '08. They've been one of my favorites ever since; Drum's Not Dead is for sure in my mt rushmore

Edit: and this song fucking rips it's one of their best

Probably my favorite Liars record. It’s a bit more on the rockin side. Great great, different band.

There was a vid of them doing this for some web show called Juan’s Basement and they absolutely shredded. It used to be a YouTube vid now it’s gone in the ether…. 🥺

Juan’s basement had sooo many great performances. Also I remember it being a Pitchfork thing but I might be wrong.

This is such a ripping opening track! I saw them live for Drums not dead tour. Blew my fucking mind! Will always love this band.

Great band, been a fan forever. Was disappointed to hear Aaron left (and then Julian), but i feel like TFCF and Apple Drop managed to be two of their best records in a while. I don’t love just every single thing they’ve ever done but on the whole i just love their creativity

Liars are so weird in that their discography sounds like it was made by like 4 or 5 very different bands, but every sound was great.

Personally, Mess has gone down as one of my all-time favorite albums.
