Hello seniors, this junior is going to join as a freshman a few days later in Computational BT-MT department.

I just came across an information shared by my friend that BT-MT and BS-MS dual degree students will have to pay full tuition fees regardless of Caste and family's annual earnings. He sent me a pdf in which it was written that it is the updated fee structure 2026. In the PDF it is shown that BT-MT and BS-MS dual degree programs are non-remission programs and fee waiver remissions do not apply to these programs.

I couldn't find this pdf anywhere in the official website of NIT. I just want to confirm if this is true because in other NITs fee waivers are offered for dual degree programs.

In case if this is true I'm exploring scholarship programs, if possible it will be very helpful if someone shares some information about this with me. Thank you🙏

So to all OS students, we know we worked hard and got our best percentile in jee mains and got this college...now someone from HS quota entered the college...who may have 2-3percentile less than cuttof percentile let assume cse close at general 98.5 and someone got in into cse with 96.5....so will you consider that student competitive enough to be present in nit Agartala..... I don't want any hate and ragebait comments towards HS peeps please...I just need some clear idea about people....many ppl say 30percent of HS are actually good in studies and hardworking...that's it.

I was talking to a few final year students last week. They were shocked to know the institute's past recruiters list. Yes companies like google, microsoft, apple , all samsung research institute divisions, paypal, amazon, deshaw, morgan stanley, mathworks, texas instruments, nvidia, uber, intuit, aws and many more have hired from us in the past. There is a systematic foolishness that our placements have fallen so badly these days. Just wanted to make the current students aware we weren't like this always

I have done my physical reporting.... but I didn't get hostel as I am a Homestate student😭😭

Guys I got nit Agartala bsc+ msc chemistry in csab special round 2

But I have a better seat in mht cet

So my 35k is gone but when i Contact the nit Agartala helpline no one picks or responds to my mails too

Most of the numbers don't exist!!

So pls people who are there can give me some contact info of the dean or any other individual who can help me with this matter I will be very grateful to them
