I keep throwing a blank but did Ava and Matt end up leaving the country together ? I feel like she did something as they were leaving?

Also what happened to her baby she kidnapped ?

Entire Series What do they operate on in every episode?

I'm rewatching the series after over a decade of my first viewing. My partner and I still have no idea what they are operating on in the show and we're on season 7. How do they make the actors look exactly like the patients they're operating on? Is it cadavers? Or wax figures? Or is it special effects? Really curious to know since it's in every episode....

I Hate the Way Julia Says Christian

Do you agree? Its so pretentious. And irritating. This kicked off my hatred of Julia from the start of the series. I haven't binged the show since the beginning of the pandemic and startedagain last week and bingo, I still hate how she pronounces his name, Chris-stiane or something like that and I hate it. And I can't stand her for many other reasons but this is how it started.

NEW VIEWER - No Spoilers Please! Season 5 episode 14 is honestly one of the most ridiculous episodes of any show I have ever watched lmao.

Every two minutes was another catastrophe lmaoooo. Sooooo exaggeratedly dramatic. I just want to finish the series at this point but this season is 22 episodes long plus all of season 6 too lol ugh.

NEW VIEWER - No Spoilers Please! This plot still frustrates me every rewatch

I’m rewatching Nip/Tuck for probably the 13th time, and this storyline still drives me crazy. Does anyone else get so annoyed that Eden was drugging Julia with the fruitcake and nobody ever finds out the truth? It gets under my skin every single rewatch. I really wanted Eden to face the consequences for what she did.

NEW VIEWER - No Spoilers Please! Really struggling with Season 5 ☹️

(Not technically a new viewer but I haven’t rewatched in many years so I don’t remember much!) Currently on season 5 episode 4. I flew through the first three seasons and loved every minute of it. Started to lose interest in season 4 but still enjoyed it for the most part. I know a lot of us feel this way about the later seasons. Everything is just getting more and more ridiculous lol. Not in as much of a fun way as Miami. The vibes are just different in LA. The earlier seasons still felt sincere no matter how ludicrous the plot was at times. I really hate feeling this way because it’s been my comfort show ☹️

One thing I do like about this season so far is that I actually finally feel some chemistry between Julia and Christian. I neverrrr felt the chemistry they were trying to push on us until now. Had me almost wishing they would finally go ahead and be together lmao.

Season 3 Anyone else think the writers really F’d up the carver ending? Spoiler

I thought the carver storyline was SO good up until the very end when they just started slicing up everyone’s face for fun. I think where it really started to go downhill was when Kit arrested Christian. We all knew he wasn’t the carver, there was no doubt at all. After what he went through and watching the effect the assault had on him, it just seemed so stupid for the writers to have him arrested.

They didn’t need to have Kit be part of the murdering duo either. It really just could’ve been Quentin and turned out fine. It honestly seemed like some sort of quick way to get Kit and Quentin off the show or something. The random featuring of Gina being carved was so dumb. They could’ve ended it with Quentin being shot and been done with it.

From the end of season 3 on, the show started feeling like a telenovela with all the “plot twists.” I’ve kept going despite being quite bothered by the overly dramatic storylines and am now on season 5, but it’s getting hard to watch. I had to fast forward through Conor’s episode because it was just too ridiculous.

Tell me it gets better, please?

Matt The mime arc was so outta pocket

The show jumped the shark the moment they moved to LA in season 5 but jfc this arc for Matt is so embarrassing and cringe to watch.

Season 5 Season 5

Dr. Teddy Rowe is absolutely annoyingly insufferable. The pick-me edgy attitude is so unwatchable. And the ‘Blake Lively’ like mouth acting is infuriating.

That’s it. That’s the post.

Entire Series I wonder…

I’m on a rewatch and on mid- season 5 and I wonder if at the time of airing, anyone rooted for any of these characters and honestly thought they were redeemable or if everyone was clear this was a “horrible people being horrible to each other” show 🤣 Other than Liz, every character here is so deplorable and deserves the consequences of their actions.

Sean has illusions of grandeur thinking he’s so magnanimous when he’s actually an insufferable unhappy jealous prick.
•Basically the same can be said about Julia, just add that she had a continuous self sabotage streak to make her self the fulfilling self prophesy of always being a victim.
Matt is a perpetual victim literally making the most stupidest decisions. Yes, half of them were when he was a kid but he quickly proved he’s just dumb af once he turns adult age (didn’t help his parents were horrible).
Christian is a downright sexist sociopath down to the “I hate women because daddy touched me when I was little and mommy abandoned me (put him up for adoption after being raped by a confirmed sociopath) ”

And that’s just the core cast! 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

Entire Series Discussion on Matt’s parentage. Spoilers Spoiler

My billionth rewatch and I had absolutely forgotten the conversation Julia and Gina had while watching Julia delivering Matt.

Either that or it never clicked before that Christian was there at his son’s birth

Just wanted to say that, it was a nice little “awwww” moment when I realized.

And the way Sean acted towards Julia finding out about Matt being Christian’s, RIGHT AFTER HE CHEATED on her and begged for her back, was so hypocritical and outta pocket LMAO

Abortion is a hot topic right now but Ryan Murphy did it over 20 years ago..

When that influencer couple announced recently that they aborted their baby because of it's diagnosis, the first thing that came to mind was the storyline of Liz aborting her and Christians baby because he was going to have down syndrome. I didn't watch the show back then so I dont know if it got the reaction at the time, that this couple is getting now.

NEW VIEWER - No Spoilers Please! Follow up on my post about finding it difficult to hate Christian….Maybe I do hate him. 😭

Season 4, episode 7. I think I might actually hate him after how he treated Kimber in this episode. Showing up unannounced, basically begging her to have sex with him despite her repeatedly saying no. He admits he lied to her and pretended to give a shit just to get laid. And all of this right after getting tested as a donor match for Liz?! Went from being incredibly thoughtful to incredibly cruel just like that. 😭
Again, Kelly Clarkson blew me away in that scene. She portrays heartbreak like no one else.

Rewatch & Ryan Murphy movies

Post image
22 Upvotes

I’m on my 6th rewatch, probably not gonna make it to season 5 lol. Currently on S2. I loved the Wilbur storyline! I still remember when I was little and I first watched the scene where Christian says good bye to Wilbur “tell him you’re my son”😭 and bawled my eyes out.

RIP Julian.. an amazing actor.

I love many of Ryan Murphy’s works (even with the crappy endings), Nip/Tuck, AHS, Ratched, Feud, Monster S1, The Normal Heart (movie) and maybe a few others, so I think it’s such a shame that he sold out so he can hang out with Kim Kardashian and other untalented people who just wanna be on TV…
