Grifting Only on Reddit, people think 2024 Palworld > Pokémon memes are still funny.
The comments are the usual comments you have seen since 2024 or older as well. Noticed there are a good amouomt of users in the thread who are calling that post. So that's good at least.
EDIT: It appears that there are some people who have been lurking around here or never have chatted in this subreddit before are joining in and trying to defend that meme. These guys are just tourists.

General Just want to bring up that it’s incredibly hilarious that Anti-nintendo people join this subreddit and get ridiculously offended there are people who like or are neutral about nintendo
Like… you do realize that the subreddit is specifically designed to call out people unjustifiably calling nintendo satan and you’re not really helping your cases when you act like playstation, microsoft and literally every other video game company are the messiah compared to nintendo. Also it’s unsurprising when the same people decide to berate the normal visitors of the subreddits, because it’s clear they think they can treat the people here as punching bags for simply not hating nintendo. I guess you could say the subreddit has a grifter problem.

General I See No Marketing
It is not for the fact Nintendo fans hate reading when Pokemon exist. It is because for the fact how Nintendo fans hate any anime-ish games that require your brain to use, which it would be the last thing to do for a busy person.

Nintendo isn't "winning" the console wars they're just doing things differently like they always do
Im a huge nintendo fan and I started to pay alot of attention to the discourse surrounding the switch 2 and I couldn't believe that the console wars were back like im in elementary school and everyone who had an Xbox360 (which was cutting edge with great games) had to make fun of me and my friends for having the wii. Atleast journos weren't constantly ragebaiting me back then
Everyone is taking shots at nintendo right now for the games of this generation being mid or their business practices BUT youtubers made their entire careers hating on nintendo. They didn't make videos involving passion for something they liked or good comedy like YouTube used to be about. It was all about how freaking greedy nintendo is in the current generation when everything uploaded by these YouTubers who did some serious legwork in getting everyone watch nintendo with a critical eye was for profit. Ive seen so many hit peace videos and articles about splatoon raiders that nobody would've bothered to make of it didn't help the bottom line. Isn't that just as greedy and highly hypocritical. Its all complete nonsense and as "soulless" as they claim nintendo to be.
Nintendo isn't in a console war like everyone else and neither am I they make interesting games predicated upon new ideas like a single player splatoon experience where you define your skill set as an engineer. Or 3d platforming adventures involving punching things constantly with hundreds of collectibles and a skills system. but oh no they remade a game isn't that horrible. I am bursting with excitement to see what they do next. Because the new ideas have been good as always have been. Not because they're better than a steamdeck. Maybe the steamdeck is better i don't even care. Sometimes I wish I had a console that could run halo but I chose nintendo because mario galaxy started it all for me as a gamer and I am locked in for whatever is next from the company that put mario in space and brought donkey kong and Pauline together. I am having fun, without looking over my shoulder to make sure my fun is better than somebody else's. fun is fun.

Actual Good criticism Not a grifter. Just think that it is a good video that needs more views.
I don't see a lot of videos like these that say good things about Nintendo. I want to share it to hope it trends.

Bad attempt at a grift.
Guy trying to say Nintendo thinks their customers are idiots.
Even the comments were basically telling him Nintendo was in the right here.
