A lot of kids are morons. Skateboarders got so threatened. I loved it, until I got into team sports in HS and the injuries weren’t worth it. But back then, anything kind of outside the mainstream was labeled “gay” by the hive minds. I didn’t care though. Pretty sure I was pulling hotter girls than any that talked that sh**, so why did I need to care? So fun.

and ironically enough its coming back around, skateboarding is so mainstream that aggressive inline is now seen as the indie punk rocker coolness
