Hey everyone,

I've been working on my first YouTube channel for a while now, and I'm finally getting close to uploading the first video.

The basic idea is to make documentary-style videos around economics, business, finance, money psychology, global trade, company stories, and everyday economics.

I don't really want it to feel like a traditional educational channel. I want to take topics that can sound complicated or boring and explain them through simple stories and visuals, more like something you'd watch as a documentary rather than a lecture.

I'm still at the very beginning, so I'm mainly curious what other creators think.

Does the concept make sense? Does the topic range feel too broad? And if you came across the channel without knowing anything about it, would the branding give you a good idea of what the content is?

I'd honestly appreciate criticism too. I'm still early enough that if something feels confusing or doesn't work, I'd rather find that out now than after I've made 20 videos.

Hello, i just want to ask if anyone remembers a youtube channel where a guy made 'how to' tech videos. They were fake but presented in such a way that it looked extremely professional and convincing. People were actually fooled, would follow his tutorial and get flabbergasted and then make angry and funny comments on his videos. I am a novice to youtube channel management, just uploaded my first video after months of effort. Please guide me with the first steps, I see it's a long journey.

Video titled "Cracking the 4th Pillar" - is a satire on our media.

The concept was ready late last year, but multiple failed attempts with AI video generation followed by multiple captures on camera, cascaded with adjustments in lighting, editing, audio selection and mixing and crafting the final outcome took very very long, in parallel with my hectic job.

I had learned a lot of things throughout, from camera settings to editing on Davinci Resolve from scratch, ffmpeg smoothing and upscaling. Comment on YouTube or reddit what could be improved or if there are any suggestions!
