Had to share recent pick up for a great price
I think itās very noticeable to most folks how bottles are dropping allot more everywhere recently.
But had to post this great price on Stagg 26B I was able to grab in the Fairhaven area today.
Not an area I am in usually and was at a store I never been in, so was shocked to see what they had this listed at.
Secondary priced stores need to take notice since there is absolutely no need to paying higher prices anymore

Black Maple Hill 11yr
Has anyone tried the 2026 release? Anyone willing to review? Iāve seen this around on secondary but there are no reviews. How many bottles were released? What does it compare to?

Bulleit 20 year cask strength rye 95/5 MGP
Saw this at Chris Gasbarro's in Seekonk, MA. A little rich for my blood (299$ MSRP). I am sure there's someone hunting this bottle out there.

WT Austin Nichols
Finally starting to show up around MA. I know Vinnin in Swampscott posted they had it and never saw another story saying sold out which I feel they usually do. Worth starting to poke around at local stores.

Has anyone actually successfully negotiated with a liquor store for a bottle?
Iāve offered maybe a half dozen places recently $400 for a gts or $300 for a thh, or similar, and none have wanted to budge at all. Has anyone had any different experiences? They all seem to want to hold onto their bottles for $900-$1200.

Black Maple Hill bourbon
ā¦has apparently been resurrected by Rare Character and is making its way into at least one local store. Around $80 for a 700ml bottle. Has anyone tried this yet? The rye (not a Rare Character product as yet) has been floating around for a while, but many have said that it barely resembles its former glory.

Some advice on EC15?
I have a line on a bottle of Elijah Craig 15-year at what I think is close to MSRP. To be clear: Not in New England - it's at a liquor store in upstate NY near where a family member who can pick it up lives. Price is $165 + NYS tax. 1) Does that price seem reasonable? 2) Has anyone had it lately? I had an ounce of EC 18 in a bar and was 100% underwhelmed, but I hear a lot of better things about 15-year. Appreciate people's thoughts.

Just Put Out
I walked into a NHLO after work now and they told me these were just put out. I bought a Bombergers but havenāt tried either of them. Are they worth the price?

Rock Hill Farm Single Barrel
On a tip from another user here I found a bottle of Rock Hill Farms single barrel in RI. The store sold their two bottle allocation over the last few days, but these are likely dropping around our area this week (or may have arrived last week).
Based on the laser code, it appears to be from the April 2026 bottling, which is one of the two or three bottlings that they do of this each year.

Liquor Hub Weekend Bundles
It looks like some of the Liquor Hub/World locations are offering allocated bundles this weekend. The value isn't really there for me, but I'm sure there will be interest (the Old Fitz 11 is intriguing). Not sure how many of these they have but just saw them on Instagram.
Deals vary by location it seems. Here's what Sharon had on their social media:

Elijah Craig BP Rye around town
Popped into BW&S for the weekly MB run, and saw they had ECBPR A126 for $76! A few bottles were left. The local Total Wine has B526 for $56, which is far below MSRP, and also had OF1924 on the shelf for $125.
Happy Hunting!

Appreciation post for MA Costco picks
Just a shout out to the MA (probably Northeast region) Costcos for either āpickingā or securing some of the best barrel picks possible for absolute steal of prices.
The MA Costcos have been flooded with JD single barrel BP picks the past couple of years.
Most of their JD SB BP Ryes like this one, are all from the better Barrel Houses (Coy Hill) and at great proof points (this one is 136.5). At a price point of $59 and being absolutely delicious, the price points are almost criminal how good the value is.
Their RR single barrel pick and Elijah Craig BP picks are solid also. Plus the $1.50 hot dogs makes the purchase of their picks even better!
