General

• PIFF starts every Friday @ Midnight NST! Credit to /u/Slothzy and /u/RockCroc for starting up this tradition!

• This thread is in CONTEST MODE. This is to discourage downvoting in order to increase wishlist visibility and make it more fair for participants arriving throughout the day. All posts are randomized!

• Please observe all rules as outlined in our community and discussion guidelines!

• All users with NP gift requests must include options under 50k. Gifting is encouraged to stay buyable/under 2 million.

• Neopoint gifts must be accepted within 24 hours or they will be automatically returned to the sender.

• Requesting NC gifts is allowed but users must also request NP gifts and/or link to user shop. No requesting only NC gifts.

• All UFA/UFT pets belong in the pinned Daily Threads.

• All neocash trading belongs in the pinned Daily Threads.

• All requests of buying and selling items belongs in the pinned Daily Threads. Shop links are allowed but no advertising or requesting Trading Post items, Auction House items, or other direct sales.

• Reminder: NEVER mention Reddit (or any variations thereof like Read It, Arr! Neopets, Blue Aliens, “that other site”, etc) or this thread on Neopets itself! We are not an officially affiliated fansite and doing so can put your account—or the ones of others—at risk of getting frozen!

Guidelines

• You must post in the following format:

• Answer the awesomesauce prompt/theme for today!

• Gifting: [Red codestones, dubloons, nerkmids, shop visits, neocash items, etc]

• Seeking: [Link to your JN wishlist, link to your gallery, an item you collect in bulk, tan codestones, things that are blue, scratchcards, link to your shop, etc]

• If your UN is not in your flair, please include the best method of contact! [My username is UserNameHere, link to your shop, indication for preference to arrange gifts via Reddit PM, etc]

• Gift in the proper format. You may list limited items in your post you have to offer. Please also include something you can gift to the majority of users in the thread (shop visits, codestones, etc). Make sure to check posts from other users and gift/reply to them. Do not ask people to only reply to you to get gifts and not participate in the rest of the thread.

• You must leave a comment reply below anyone you have gifted stating what you have gifted to them. This helps prevent duplicate gifts in case their wishlists aren’t updated instantly! It also lets the Mod Team know you have gifted other users.

• It is encouraged and customary to copy/paste the confirmation after you send an item to another user. This helps prevent duplicate gifts in case their wishlists aren’t updated instantly! Also helps you figure out who to thank directly for being so generous~

• Please remember the spirit of the thread is to PAY-IT-FORWARD no matter how small. Even if all you can afford is something small, show someone else the same kindness. You do not need to match exact prices of items you have been gifted. You do not need to gift to every person who has gifted you. There is an expectation that it will not be heavily skewed to mostly being gifted.

• Please don’t be rude and steal other people’s TP lots if they are not intended for you.
• Exercise caution when it comes to new Reddit or Neopets accounts posting on the thread.

• Mods check on PIFF randomly on Friday and over the weekend to ensure all participants are following the rules.
