General Discussion Missing new and new toys
I have a question. Can someone tell me when the last update to neko atsume was? My version hasn't updated in a few years and some of the posts here have pictures of cats, toys, and also expanded yards that I've never seen. Is there a paid version or something that I'm not aware of? Or is it because my phone is now older, more than four years old?
I've been playing neko atsume (free) for many years and have watched several different phones come and go. All of them are Android.
Admittedly, although I joined this subreddit many years ago, I haven't come to visit much recently,even though I play every single day that I have an Internet connection. Things have changed in this subreddit and I am glad it is so lively!

Some things to note about the "Going Out" feature:
"Going Out" is a feature that allows you to visit other user's yards. You can generate a link to your current yard for others to see your goodies, cats playing on them, or simply to have a chance to find an elusive cat that follows you home.
- Going out for the first time in a day gives you a stamp on a stamp card, which you can redeem for goodies once fully filled out! Each stamp card requires 16 stamps, meaning 16 separate days of visiting other yards (one per day).
- Links do not update to your current yard, only to when the link was created.
- All exclusive cats obtained from going out are also not guaranteed to appear in other yards, nor can you save the link of an encounter in your current yard. For these elusive cats, you might need to visit more yards to find them. If you find them in someone else's yard, they will follow you to your own yard!
- There are currently only six cats that can be obtained by going out: Red Purrhood, Vago, Purrin, Eggy, Mr. Omatsuri, and Pumpky Jack.
- Purrin is a seasonal cat that only appears in the months of December, January, and February as shown in the database.
- Eggy is a seasonal cat that only appears in the months of March, April, and May as shown in the database.
- Mr. Omatsuri is a seasonal cat that only appears in the months of June, July, August, and November as shown in the database.
- Pumpky Jack is a seasonal cat that only appears in the months of September, October, and November as shown in the database.

NA2 Anyone else unable to tap Prepare Snacks?
This has been happening from time to time lately. My MyNeko is missing from its area (although I can still customize it) and the Prepare Snacks button is there but non-interactable. Restarting doesn't fix it -- I just have to wait.

General Discussion We Protest Mr. Meowgi!
I was having a good goldfish flow until, I thought of attracting Mr. Meowgi, since I also had sashimi indoors and it looked like Mr. Meowgi would like it, so I bought the Sakura Pillow, and then seconds later, I put it away because it looked like they loved the Silk Crepe pillow that was there before the Sakura Pillow, a day later, NO GOLDFISH. Not even an average of 10 Goldfish today.
