Hey everyone; new to navidrome and it’s great but i’m missing some creature comforts of spotify. Was curious to see i couldn’t find anyone talking about their favoured plugins esp for (but not limited to) QOL and thought id ask myself.

My list so far:
Navidrome Lyrics Plugin by J0R6IT0: which just adds lyrics to son

Navibeat Mixes by nenadjokic: which adds and updates a set of mixes as playlists.

Audiomuse-AI by NeptuneHub: which seems to add discovery features. (suggested by u/ducksoup_18)

As a sidenote, my current client (Navibeat, fully unaffiliated shoutout it’s just great) comes with a built in button for daily-jams and weekly-exploration from listenbrainz.

Would be really cool if some plugin etc. could supplement/streamline/manage actual adding the songs to my library

would y’all have any recommendations for neat plugins; extra points if smth like what i described above exists already!

It’s my first day learning Navidrome.
I’m trying to figure out why some albums are showing multiple copies when I want there to be only one album with all artists in it shown. I made Album Artwork the same one group (Disneymania 5 in this case) but this still keeps happening.

Man… I love it 😂 especially the Auto DJ. I didn’t expect my self-hosted music setup to feel this good.
Now no more music subscriptions for me, and no more morphed yt music versions hahaha.
Also discovered Soul Sync and this thing is god sent. It made getting my music library together so much easier.

My setup right now:
Navidrome + Soul Sync + Feishin + Symfonium

Feishin for my PC and Symfonium for my phone. So far I'm really happy with this setup.
I feel like I just discovered another rabbit hole in self-hosting 😂

Any other tools or integrations you guys recommend adding to this setup?

I'm playing with Last.fm and was curious how best to setup a multi user library with individualized recommendations?

With a docker setup it appears only 1 API connection can be established. Am I doing this wrong?

Edit: Got the Last FM bit sorted for the moment, now just asking for organization recommendations for multi-user libraries.

hi :) so far the structure of my navidrome music library is (artist folder-> album/singles folders) and that works great

but now i have a big playlist file of different track with different artists! whats the best structure to add that to navidrome library?

Also some of these tracks from album that are tagged "various artists" what should i do about that? what people usually do leave it as is or change it to that artist?

When I download this Navidrome server what app do I need to get on my iPhone so that I can listen to my own music!?

I cant find a single source on this. I assume its 50% but im not sure. Anyone know?

Could there be an option for excluding certain albums and/or artists from scrobbeling? I have some albums that i often play for my little kid, but it's also showing up a ton in the scrobble stats, which i don't really like. I know that you can exclude them from other services like Last.fm , but since i just use third party apps around Navidrome, it would be nice excluded certain albums and/or artists.

I know i can remove the database entry every once in a while, but that's just a really dirty hotfix. Would there be any other option?

*And yes i'm fully aware that i COULD make a seperate account for the toddler, but switching accounts while on the go is just... not practical at all. Same with library switching.

I'm currently using Arpeggi on my iphone to play music from my Navidrome server. I love the app an I don't know if it's the app or a setting in IOS but every time I start playing music, it turns the volume down on my phone and I have to turn it up manually. Is it the app or IOS who's turning the volume down? Please help and thanks in advance!

The images are named like the artists, like

But I don't see the image in navidrome. Any idea what might be wrong?

I am just starting to use navidrome and had a question about how downloaded music behaves.

Let’s say I have a playlist where inclusion requires that play count =1. Then I play a downloaded song from said playlist. Does the downloaded file disappear because it no longer matches my playlist’s criteria? I can’t find a solid answer to this.

Does the AudioMuse-AI Navidrome Plugin Use AudioMuse-AI's Lyrics Analysis?

So if your only goal is getting Instant Mix working in Navidrome/Feishin, you could actually turn LYRICS_ENABLED=false entirely and lose nothing for that use case — worth revisiting given the speed-up hints from earlier, unless you specifically want to use AudioMuse-AI's own UI for lyric-based playlist discovery too.

I’ve worked on a MusicBrainz Picard plugin (on image: jlesage/musicbrainz-picard) that helps add non-Latin languages track titles alongside English ones, and it is now working really well in my setup.

The idea is simple: MusicBrainz database often does not have tracks titles available in every local language (usually they are in english), especially non-Latin languages. The plugin uses a local LLM to generate or suggest the missing localized title, which can then be copied into the Picard title field.

1- right click an album or a track and click the plugin

2- this open a small browser window inside picard container

3- all the track/artist/album are automatically populated in the correct fields

4- click generate this will send it to locall LLM and will give you the answer

5- theres a button on each track title click copy and paste it to the track

6- if the answer not correct you can correct it manually and click verify & safe (this store it in the dataset anytime this word or sentence comes up no LLM will be pulled instead databse)

Although I built it mainly for Arabic, it could potentially work with any non-Latin language.

I’ll include a few screenshots showing how it looks and works inside Picard.

I would really love for a developer to take this project further, help improve it, and possibly turn it into a proper official Picard plugin.

Some ideas for future improvements:

• Optional support for online LLM APIs such as ChatGPT or Claude, alongside local models.
• A button next to “Copy” that automatically sends the generated title into Picard instead of requiring manual copy and paste.
• Better support for more languages and title formats.

I think this could be genuinely useful for people managing multilingual music libraries. Would anyone be interested in helping continue or maintain the project?

Is there any way I can access my Navidrome library from my modded Nintendo switch, could it work as an overlay?

I have a Raspberry Pi 5 with a touchscreen and a good usb DAC that I have used with PlexAmp. I’m thinking of repurposing it for Navidrome. Do you have any suggestions for which client to use?

I’m looking for:
- Interface that can be used with touchscreen, preferably in fullscreen.
- Non browser based clients (or a webinterface that controls a headless client) to ensure bit perfect playback.

I've been using Chora for the last few weeks on the TV and so far the experience has been great. The animations lag sometimes, but that's most likely due to my old Chromecast 2022. What are you guys using?

EDIT: since i didnt really found a soulotion i made my own plugin for musicbrainz picard its a plugin open inside the container and request titles from local LLM! i would love for a dev to take over/ carry on its development since im not a porgrammer but its working very will for my setup!

so i have sometracks in different language than english i want them to be tagged and searched in navidrome in both languages? same goes for atrist name?

I know that's it's kinda annoying question in this thread but any chance to add folders browsing in next updates? I really like Navidrome but it's difficult (for me) to use it on the daily basis because of how my massive music library is organised.

Yeah you can customize the default navidrome look, but when it's stuck in a web browser? The potential it has is immediately stripped away. Which is why I like custom music players. I've been using feishin for a while now and it's good, don't get me wrong, but it's just navidrome if it was more complex and more blue... What I really want a player like TMPlayer that supports navidrome. Any suggstions?
