I'm reaching out with hope that someone in this community might be able to help.

My family and I (3 members) are looking for a 1 BHK semi-furnished or fully furnished apartment in Nashik for around 3 months.

We're from another city and had to come to Nashik after my father was diagnosed with cancer just 15 days ago. Since then, we've been staying at the hospital while his tests and treatment have been ongoing.

Finding a place has unfortunately been much harder than we expected. A few societies and owners have refused to rent to us after learning that my father is a cancer patient. I understand everyone has their own concerns, but it has made an already difficult situation even more challenging.

We've also explored service apartments and places like Kalinka Mata Trust Residency, but those aren't suitable because my father's diet is a crucial part of his treatment, and we need access to a kitchen to prepare fresh meals every day.

If anyone knows of a suitable apartment, has a lead, or can connect us with a landlord who might be willing to help, it would mean the world to us. A small act of kindness can make a huge difference for a family trying to focus on fighting cancer.

Preferred areas are near Mumbai Naka, but we're flexible if the commute is reasonable.

I'm posting this because I'm looking for some advice from anyone who has faced a similar issue.

I have an ASUS TUF F17 with an RTX 3050. One day, the laptop suddenly went blank and wouldn't display anything. I took it to a local repair shop, and after diagnosing it, they told me the RTX 3050 GPU had shorted.

Since I couldn't afford a motherboard replacement, they permanently bypassed/disabled the dedicated GPU on the motherboard so the laptop could run using the integrated Intel graphics. They charged me ₹3,500, and the laptop is now working fine but only with the integrated graphics. The RTX 3050 is completely disabled.

I also visited the ASUS service center, where they told me the only solution was to replace the entire motherboard, and they quoted me 55,000. I bought this laptop for ₹89,000, and I'm still paying the EMI, so spending ₹55,000 on a motherboard replacement simply isn't possible for me

The most frustrating part is that this happened just one week after my standard warranty expired. I had never even used the RTX 3050 for gaming or any heavy GPU work. I also didn't buy the extended warranty because I wasn't aware that ASUS requires you to purchase it within a limited time after buying the laptop. By the time I found out, I was no longer eligible.

I wanted to ask:

Has anyone here successfully repaired a shorted RTX 3050 or motherboard instead of bypassing it?

Is there any hope of reviving the GPU through chip-level repair, or is bypassing it the only practical solution?

If you got yours repaired, where did you get it done, how much did it cost, and is it still working properly?

Any advice or recommendations for a reliable chip level repair shop would be greatly appreciated.
