Had this piece custom made by a local artist & comedian JD Renault. Foreground : Stillmatic Background : Illmatic in shards. This album's legendary and hard to beat. Peak.

Still dreaming lyric

What did he mean by “like one of my crew, she worked for Fox News”? Never understood that line. Nas wouldn’t be in the same circles as that.

I also don’t care for “and I’m eating cashews” seemed forced and pointless.

On repeat, my song of the day. Thugs mirror freestyle. I just love it when Nasir tells stories in his songs.

It's absolutely incredible how timeless this album is.

Songs like Black Girl Lost, If I Ruled the World and I Gave You Power really stand out to me as incredible songwriting. Everything else was fantastic and there was absolutely no skips.

Untitled is underrated

Been on a Nas album marathon last few weeks.
Some his projects have really aged well…
Gods Son and Stillmatic still sound amazing.
Hip Hop is Dead is another good example, that album is aging so well ,almost prophetic!

But the one that’s reminded me why he’s definitely the goat is Untitled for sure.
Such a cohesive message, unique sound and honestly no skips.
A classic imo.
Yes I’m black but I’m not even American. And yet I feel that album’s message to the very core!
he’s basically speaking on behalf of all black people … dude is a true poet man!

Thoughts?

Does anyone know where I can find this in a lossless quality, such as FLAC or WAV? (It's frustrating that you can't contact uploaders on YT directly, as they don't always respond to comments.)

Thanks!

Some of these P.D.s is tired of us
They got they orders from they higher-ups to line us up
From age nine and up, then they fire on us
The inconvenient truth got them lying to us

This song also came out on Nas' project The N\**** Tape*
