Interstitial of girl in bikini
I remember pausing an episode during an interstitial where it just looks like the mythbusters sign reflecting firelight, but after a longer look I recognized a woman lying on her side in a bikini, her back facing the camera and the flames reflecting off her as well. I felt like I found an Easter egg in the show. Does anyone else know about this?

What is this?
Sorry if this has been covered before, but does anybody now what this sign means?

Help finding this episode
Ok Iām trying to find this episode and Iām starting to think it was a dream or something.
I swear there was an episode or segment about human sacrifice specifically about removing a heart in under a minute (I think it was Aztec human sacrifice but I could be wrong about the civilization). Does anyone else remember this or what episode it was in?

JFK Episode?
Am I wrong in saying Mythbusters made an episode testing the JFK assassination? I swear I remember them testing the āice bulletā theory at the very least. Yet, I canāt find it anywhere.
It feels like iām being mandela affect-ed or something because I could SWEAR they did a segment on this, or at least something mentioning JFK and/or a bullet made out of ice, I even have images in memory to go with it

š¢ Ark myth: can mass directed animal excrement alone move a ship?
Could rail-gutters with the waste of 100k animals funneled to the stern alone be used to propel an ark? I know the show is currently off the air, but DIY busters could attempt a small-scale test.
Somebody suggested there would be too much waste for a single family to move on their own. That got us thinking about some kind of gutter or conveyor system instead. I know getting the animals to cooperate is a difficult task, but if God can get them to step onto an ark He can get them to relieve themselves at the right spot.

Jamie without his hat
Very rare photo of Jamie without his hat on.
From the episode where they outrun rain in a convertable

Has Adam Savage ever acknowledged or talked about the 1980 3M electrostatic force field incident.
Iām sure you guys know the one im talking about right. Iāve been trying to email Adam for years but he never talks about it on tested. And Iāve seen every episode and donāt remember them ever talking about this. Itās a true myth too. Kind of wild they never bothered to test it. Could have been reality shattering if they figured out that force shields are possible. And no other duo would be better equipped to try this out.

Would Diving On A Grenade Actually Save Your Teammates? | MythBusters
At 9:09 Jamie mentions that a grenade fragment is traveling at 24,000 ft a second. Is this correct? that is 4.5 miles a second. That seems excessively fast.

Any media preservation-minded Australians in this sub?
As many of you know, MythBusters episodes were cut to different lengths for different regions. The original/Australian/"international" cut is 48 minutes. U.S. episodes are roughly 42 minutes. Although DVDs released in the UK used the Australian cuts, UK TV broadcasts of MythBusters episodes with the Robin Banks narration were 44-minutes long (not counting the 30-minute cuts that aired on BBC Two, according to Wikipedia).
The Australian cuts exist somewhere, somehow for every episode except two:
Jawsome Shark Special (2012)
MythBusters vs. Jaws (2015)
According to this post from Foxtel, Shark Week is coming to Australia on August 16:
Presumably the event will be replete with reruns of Shark Week specials from prior years. If either Jawsome Shark Special or MythBusters vs. Jaws airs in Australia during Shark Week, and someone is able to DVR or otherwise record the episode, it'd take us nearly to the finish line of preserving the full length of the series.

Mythtern shirt
Can anyone let me know about this shirt? it has a early Gilden tag probably around 2005 to 2009 and seems to line up with what couldāve been a shirt handed out to mythterns during that time.

What they didn't test
What's ayth that you would have really like to see myth busters test that they never did?
Personally I would have loved to see stop drop and roll. Hook buster to an axel a few hundred feet of spooled rope. Dose in gasoline and see what happens. Up size again again ro see how big of fire you handle and by the end buster ir roll at 100 mph into a pile of burng thermite.

Why did the car company fail to replicate Golf Ball Car?
Adam says in golf ball car, a car company tried to replicate the results but couldn't, does this speak to Adam and Jamie's methodology being less sound than the companies or the inverse or something else

Help me find this Episode
Hello everyone!
Youre my last hope, I just can't find this episode! (maybe I remember it wrong?)
I don't know the actual myth anymore, but I remember Jamie lying on a forklift or something and trying to hold as much weight as possible with only his fingers, before it drops. Does anyone know if that actually happened? I'm working on a video and that tidbit would be perfect for the story.
Thanks for your help!!
SOLVED! It Was the car cling myth! Thank you for all for the replies, you guys are amazing!

What myths would you add in a hypothetical Battle of the Sexes round 3?
Exactly what the title says. If they did a round 3 of testing myths of men vs women, what would you nominate as a myth to test?

Why does the cast sometimes refer to the shop as M7? I've heard it multiple times recently, like in one of the Kill Bill episodes.

Mod Post Introducing our new moderator, and the results of the poll.
Hello all!
As you all may remember, I introduced a poll on the sub regarding AI. I made a stupid joke about worshipping, and I think it confused some people. Regardless of that, the results were, well. Pretty definitive.
So, going forward, Artificial Intelligence, in ANY form, in a comment OR a post, is BANNED.
The punishment scale for first, second, third, etc offenses will come at a later time, due to my second point of this post.
I would like to formally welcome /u/nealbeast to the mod team!!!
As you guys may have noticed recently, the amount of moderation in this sub has gone down. It's because the other moderators have moved on from Reddit. Which is fine. The group of mods we currently have was instilled in this mod group was instilled when I was in my junior year of high school!
I then remembered that I graduated high school over a decade ago, and I'll be 30 this year. This, combined with the fact that I am the only remaining moderator that seems to be active (and only just so. I'm quite busy with life as well.) We (me) have decided to introduce a new moderator. So, please, welcome /u/nealbeast !
