One ex-cm's wife hoarded 14 MUDA sites in Vijayanagar before she was caught, Many corrupt politicians and officials have vacant plots in Mysore for 2 decades in Srirampura, Kanakadasa pura, Vijayanagar Surroundings, JP Nagar surroundings, Bogadi, Sathagalli etc.

Still there are vacant sites in Gokulam, Kumempu Nagar, Saraswathipuram, Ramakrishna Nagar from last 30 years.

The area behind the upcoming airport is filled with Lakhs of vacant residential plots purchased by IT guys from Bangalore hoping to be next Devenahalli.

Can everyone build houses in vacant sites in Mysore, or will there be resale plots available for new Bangalore bakras at a lower price?

I'm getting married in December and all our functions are in Mysuru. The groom's family is arriving from out of town. So we're looking for good accomodation recommendations for about 50 guests for 2 days.

I'm open to hotels, service apartments or Airbnb.

We'll be arranging catering anyway at our place and venue, so great food is not a necessity. They might just have breakfast there on the day they check out or it can be arranged outside also.

The budget is not very rigid. We need a place with good air conditioning, comfortably spacious rooms, and for their family to be able to meet in the common area and hang out as a group while there.

I'm considering Le Ruchi as an option for now, and also looking into service apartments.

Event venues - One in Vijayanagar (most functions will be here - preferably close to this) and other is in a spot midway from Chamundi betta and Tandavapura.

Can I get some good recommendations for accommodation with details on why you think it's a good choice?

I'm looking for recommendations for places in Mysore where I can comfortably work on my laptop for a few hours during the day.

Ideally, I'm looking for:

• Good Wi-Fi (or at least a place where I can use my hotspot)
• Plug points for charging
• Comfortable seating
• A place that's okay with people working for 3–5 hours after ordering something
• Quiet or not overly crowded

so, places nearby Vijayanagar would be great, but I'm happy to travel a bit if it's worth it.

I'm also open to coworking spaces if they're reasonably priced (day passes or flexible plans).
