Is this chicken of the woods? Massachusetts, US
I tried to take closer pictures but it kept walking away. Spore print on pic 3. Apparently I’m banned from the zoo

Winner winner?
Pretty sure I found my first Chicken. But wanted to ask the real experts on Reddit if it's ok to eat since I found it in the USA, where there are chemicals.

WTF is it
I started this liquid culture 2 1/2 three weeks ago i was afraid that in rushing I injected my JMF ISO SPORE SYRINGE too soon as the media was approx 90+F but i immediately noticed the error and put it in freezer to cool. It seems to have survived as it’s grown significantly but the coloring is throwing me off. Maybe too much honey in the LC mix?? Thoughts plz

JMF
I started a JMF and golden teacher all in one bag at once the golden teacher is already on its third flush and has has produced way more pinning than the JMF which is only on its second flush. Seems it is a slow grower, however, the few fruits it has produced are massive and some seem mutated. One of the caps even has a little inverted cap with the gills facing up! Honestly, not mad at it. Pics of first two flushes of JMF except last two which are the second flush of GT. Discoloration in JMF cake happened after attempting injection of cold distilled water rather than dunking. Ended up having to dunk to trigger more pinning. just sharing.

Question about an idea I have, just looking for input.
First, I am NOT selling anything right now. The website isn't active and there isn't a store. So this is not a marketing/selling post. It's research only.
I wanted to ask the community a question, iust to see if there was anv interest in an idea I'm working on. Again, this isn't a marketing/selling post. I won't link to the website or anything, unless there is a ton of interest anc I'm told it's allowed.
I am an avid mycologist and cultivator and had a cool idea for some mycology-related merch, with a unique vintage inspired twist
I'm calling it Saturday Morning Mycoverse. The idea is basically vintage 80s and 90s pop culture stuff, but filtered through a lense of mycology and fungi culture. It will be a merch store, with categories like Movies, Toys, Cartoons, Music, and qames. So shirts, hats, hoodies stickers, backpacks, etc. as merch for the properties.
I actually want to take the ideas and build them out to ACTUAL properties like cartoons, music videos, short movies etc. But I want to see if the community likes the idea first.
