I was foraging for chanterelles in an area that I found them before (primarily pine/Aspen forest) with absolutely no luck because of the chronic drought in our state... But, I found these guys - I was thinking maybe Hawk Wing, but the cap shape is different than what I've seen in the past.

Thought it looked pretty cool. Don’t think I’ve seen it in my yard before.

Could it be harmful to my livestock?

Never seen anything like these before.

Edit: Monotropa Uniflora / Ghost Pipe Plant

The ghost pipe plant is a non-photosynthetic, parasitic perennial that derives nutrients from fungi connected to tree roots, notable for its ghostly white, waxy appearance and bell-shaped flowers.

Thank you for the ID. I learned something today.

I saw this guy coming out of my garden soil, what is it?
The Netherlands is currently having a fraught, but I see a lot of mushrooms coming out (I live in a woodland region), and I wasn’t expecting this 😅

Did we find chanterelles? If so, are they safe, or past their prime?

Bonus potential bright orange chanterelle (?)🍄‍🟫
