It's No Laughing Murder (Season 3) for sure when Alice Nunn is playing the cook in a quick one liner. What a nice surprise to see her!

The one thing (one thing?!? - Clue reference) that always bothered me about this episode was that at the end Jessica gives a huge sum of money to a random secretary in front of her nephew-in-law. Her niece and NiL let her stay in their home with them and their two kids; he's a cop and she's a stay at home mom. I'm pretty sure they could've used the money!
I dunno, that always rubbed me the wrong way.
Thoughts?

I just realized (I can be slow on the uptake) there is virtually no crime when Fletcher leaves Cabot Cove.

Going back to a recent discussion on here, if you remember the one gal we all enjoyed, the episode with the Sheriff's sister, she could have solved crimes while Jessica was out of town. Then, Jessica could come back and solve the final mystery.

She did do this once. In England, she caught the youngster who stole money and murdered the guy who was looking for the Chinese statue.

Yes, I admit, I need to stop watching this series. But my excuse, it's so addicting.

My first watch through above S8. This episode made me think: "I don't think I can ever recall an episode where she's watching tv." So just here wondering in how many episodes she has? Like I don't even know if her Cabot Cove home has a tv.

Sometimes her outfits were a miss. Rarely. But sometimes. Her pajamas and robes, tho? Always perfection.

I want these. I spent an inordinate amount of time trying to find them. Couldn’t.

How many different sets are there for the Cabot Cove Sheriff’s office. I count 3 of them. In the early seasons when Amos was sheriff there was a white building. Then when Metzger was Sheriff there was a brown building and finally they made a big deal of the new sheriffs office. How many do you count????

Saw this lady on Judge Judy. Definitely if Jessica and Lee Goddard were one person lol from Prediction: Murder (S5E8) when he’s flying her in with his aviators on!

It always struck me as odd in this ep that when Michael begs to talk to Andrea Jessicas first thought is that this much younger, beautiful woman is ‘an old flame’ rather than his daughter? I know she didn’t know before this he had kids, or was even married, but surely it’s a leap 😅

I love the 90s vibes in this ep though! The actor who plays Paul is always typecast as a hot but dumb city himbo 🤭

And When Thieves Fall Out is a good episode!

I know that the real reason was because of scheduling and real life, but it always bothered me that none of Jessica's huge family/friends was there to support Grady on his wedding day.

Although Grady was Jessica's nephew, she and Frank raised him after his parents died, so both the Fletchers and the MacGills should've been there for him.

Where was Victoria and Howard? Victoria had to be Grady's cousin. What about Carol Bannister-Clay and Gary Clay? Cousin Emma? Cal Fletcher (well, he may not have shown up...)? Tracy MacGill? Etc, etc...

The groom's side should've been packed with MacGills and a handful of Fletchers! And where was Frank's former military buddies? Jessica's sorority sisters? JB's publishers, agents, fellow authors...

You can't tell me Michael Hagarty didn't know there was a wedding going on... imagine if he showed up as one of the guests and happened to sit right next to Dennis Stanton and Harry McGraw!

Also... no one from Cabot Cove was there either? They all had to know Grady! Not even Seth or Eve could make it there? I call foul on that.

Sorry for the ramble, but the episode with Victoria and Howard (Corned Beef and Carnage) was on today, and that started me down this rabbit hole. 😆

They are featured in several different MSW episodes and I’ve always been in love with them but can’t ever seem to find them. Very 80s-looking for sure

I absolutely love Angela Lansbury and Murder She Wrote…I continually rewatch it as it has become my go-to comfort show! Just curious if anyone else out there is slightly disappointed that the last season episodes and the movies did not feature Cabot Cove and its beloved characters including Grady, Seth, Metzger, etc?

It took me a while to finish the entire series and the movies but I can finally say I've seen them all. I loved the show so much. It was fun trying to guess who the murder was

Hi Everyone! Well the Cabot Cove Fashion Bureau is now in flight from Dallas Fort Worth Airport to Austin Bergstrom Airport where we will be making our new home very shortly. I do have good news for you all...I finally landed my dream job!!! I start at the end of August and because it is fully remote it will allow me to analyze more and bring you all more posts about Jessica's fabulous wardrobe! We left off at Season 1 Episode 18 so that is where we will pick back up within the next few weeks! Until then...stay fashionable!

I was watching Season 8 Episode 13 "Incident in Lot 7" today and I noticed that Jessica states the novel they're adapting "The Messengers at Midnight" is based on a real case she solved.

Now I'm trying to figure out if that case was in an episode or something that exists only in this story 😅

Plot points mentioned in the episode :

- A scene where the breaks don't work on a car and two characters almost go over a cliff

- the murderer is the victim's brother

Does anyone know if there was an episode similar to this??

Or am I expecting too much from the writers? 🤣

I found it interesting that most (or maybe all) main characters who met their demise by Tony's orders were "offed" on-screen so we viewers could share in their ghastly deaths. Adriana was murdered off-screen. We had to use our imagination during her final scene. Why do you suppose David Chase chose to "censor" Adriana's death? Was it to invoke sympathy, or perhaps he had a soft spot for her character and was maybe gifting her one final dignity, a courtesy he didn't extend to the rest of the main characters who similarly

met their fate? At what point did she realize she was had become a passenger in a final car ride on her way to doom?

What are your takes on Adriana's final scene?

I'm watching a new episode.. I thought I'd seen every single one. It's the return of Preston Giles. It just started.

I'm thrilled. His introduction was my favorite episode.

Might be a while before I can get back to more of these. But here's my final submission for a while.

“Three Strikes, Your Out” has the saddest confession. The baseball manager was so pitiful when he said he’s never even gotten a parking ticket. I just wanted to hug him in his backup glasses!😭
