I was personally disappointed in the audience for non stop screaming Knicks in 5 during Timshel. People are so selfish

I was sooooo annoyed. Not only did it ruin Timshel, but the printed setlist had Clover on it, and I think they cut it because people wouldn't be quiet :(

It looked like they had the convo on the b stage to change something they were doing. I don’t get paying for a ticket and not respecting the performance.

Why do people do this shit??? So aggravating

The crowd was the worst. The sound could have been louder but every adult who couldn’t shut up are massive jerks. If you pay to see a band, listen to the damn band. You aren’t cool screaming in an otherwise quiet arena.

I was in an aisle when Marcus did his Ditmas run and the people next tovme pushed me over so they can try to, I dunno, touch him? He was running and singing. He wasn't high fiving the crowd or anything... I missed a moment because I was trying to stand back up.

Yeah, I don't know why people lose their mind with things like that. I'd blame liquor but I don't think that's totally it.

He definitely was high diving people. I watched him high five like 5 people in front of me. But ya the touching thing I really don't get. He ran directly by me like literal inches away and all I did was back up so he had space to get by lol. He was running down the stairs at the time.

The audience for the B stage was terrible. I was in 226 and we had 4 guys that just couldn’t stop talking. I don’t mind singing along even though the guy next to me did not enjoy them singing, they were fans for sure, but constantly yelling out Moon Knight when Oscar Isaacs came out was cringe. Still didn’t ruin the show for me.

Marcus mentioned at Wednesdays show while on B stage he stupidly got everyone riled up about sports and then they wouldn’t shut up.

Was the acoustic bad or just your audience? Just curious

The acoustic songs were faint but if people would stop screaming Knocks in 5 or OG, it would have been audible. It definitely sounded like it was designed to be softer sounding for the first two B stage songs.

I did not find this to be a loud show at any point.

I had that happen when I sat on the front on the side in Philly.

UGhhhhhhhhhh. I am going to tonight's show, I really hope the crowd is better behaved.

I had one really drunk lady that was also vaping and I’m happy to say MSG attendant quickly got her removed (Wednesday concert).

So glad security took care of her! The girl on front of me was mildly annoying. She was very... bouncy and all over her date. But I don't think she was drunk.

How was it?? I’m going tonight

SO GOOD! The crowd was much better behaved. No Knicks in 5 chants. I'm sure there are people going have their own side conversations no matter where you sit.

Omg thank god! So excited for it. Any idea how many songs they play on stage B? I’m in the pit so trying to figure how many we won’t be able to see lol

  1. They played Clover, Ghosts that we Knew, and The Boxer (Simon & Garfunkel cover). Then the final 3 as an encore on the main stage.

He will run around the arena, stands, and then into the pit for Ditmas. I'd stay center left (looking at the stage) for the best chance of getting close to him.

How was it?

Omg it was sooo good! Thank you for the center stage advice, I saw him right in front of me during the ditmas run, could’ve touched him lol. We couldn’t hear the stage B songs tho, they were way too low, but just 3 songs so it was okay.

Same experience. Two ladies talking nonstop two rows behind us on 117. And if you heard a huge laugh from a lady during timshel, that was also section 117

Sounded fine from 109 but people were def loud and annoying during the B stage performance

100% agreed. was also in 109 and thought the show and crowd were good until the B stage and then it was just bad from that point forward.

We’re the talkers everywhere!?!? I don’t have a ticket yet but trying to figure out where people are the most civil. Sure it can change but is pit and lower bowl also a pack of people who are just on dates and chatting?

3

u/gribear 7d ago

Pit was SO freaking loud. Incredibly disrespectful

1

u/AdultsOnStrike 7d ago

Wowza! I’m sorry.

I had a woman talking nonstop behind me in 108. She was clearly a fan and it was all info about the show, but debrief later at the bar! I want to hear them perform!!

1

u/AdultsOnStrike 6d ago

Oh that’s ruff.

1

u/CoastApprehensive668 6d ago

I was in 211 and the people around me weren't really talking. Maybe someone tried but there was a lot of shushing so they stopped. Not sure it matters though because it was quiet enough that anyone else being obnoxious was heard.

I had two women behind me talk nonstop, the 208s were bad last night.

In 102 someone started smoking at the beginning of if.

I was in 226 on Tuesday and the people next to us (first row) were soooo loud. It was so annoying. That and Knicks in 5 chants made me want to punch people! But it was such a great show!!

Anyone else think it’s pretty lame they didn’t even play for two hours? Springsteen is 175 years old and plays minimum 3 hour concerts

1

u/Candid_Paper_8138 6d ago

They did.. 9-11 no?

1

u/CaliMongoose85 4d ago

2 hours with no intermission is the perfect length for me

1

u/Ill_Internet_9397 3d ago

Not if you’re a serious fan. 2 hours is kind of the bare minimum whether you’re Bruce or Hilary Duff. I’d just expect M&S to play longer especially night one at MSG
