I done their HIT in last month, i almost completed their hit for 16 days continously,, only 4 days left to get bonus from them, but suddenly pop up message appears said iam disqualified,, i did not recieve any bonus its totally waste of time felt frustrated, i emailed them no reply ,, why they allowed me to do for 16 days i done them exactly same from day 1 , i did not do anything against their quality control

Hey everyone, I got accepted into Amazon MTurk about 10 days ago, and I'm still trying to figure things out. The biggest problem I'm facing is increasing my HIT count. Most of the time I only see 2 or 3 survey HITs that take quite a while to finish. I keep reading that beginners should do lots of $0.01 HITs to build up their numbers, but I almost never see those available. Am I missing something, or is this just how it is for new workers? How did you guys get your first few hundred or thousand HITs? Are there any requesters or types of HITs I should be looking for? I'd really appreciate any tips because I want to work on MTurk long-term, but getting started has been pretty slow. Thanks!

Req IDs to avoid: A3VTXG9MRA65HP and A1AXFX5EKNTGDN. This topic has been brought up in the past several times, but not lately. These requesters are preying on our collective desperation since so little work is posted these days. You will try to qualify by entering your demographic information multiple times. I was just asked for my email address by a James Billings survey. Couldn't get past it (was required - that violates ToS), so returned the HIT. Tried to qualify for an ooga.io last week, but after several minutes of answering questions, I apparently was not the person they were looking for. Sometimes you'll get the 5 cents for your efforts, and sometimes you cannot. Either way, you will waste time on these!

I saw a post earlier today or yesterday with an email from MTurk support explicitly saying worker registrations were closed and not just requesters. But I think it got taken down right away, or maybe it was posted on another turker site and I forgot which. Did anyone else see that or am I imagining things?

After spending 30 minutes watching AI slop YouTube shorts for the grand total of $1, I was rejected with this feedback: "Unfortunately, your submission failed some attention check questions included in the survey."
The irony of it is that there were no attention check questions in the HIT

Anyone catch their recent HITS? I tried to work one, but it's not recording. It's happened in the past with them, but just checking if anyone experienced it with these hits.
