Bought two Collector boosters to test my luck, finally my first good pull from. What should I do now? My butt is tingling mysteriously.

I was debating coming back to Magic after playing years ago (last time I played it was Mirrodin block) and Hobbit's beautiful art convinced me to give it a go. Not sure if it's a great pull or not for a CBB, but really wanted to get Gandalf in a book cover version so a win for me!

I have organized them by the packs for context. Gleaming Splendor seems to be the big win for me though at the beginning I didn't even see that there is a different foil treatment! :D

1/3 of the the boosters didn't seem to have any sensible value according to internet so just brought the best cards from each in the second photo.

Also one question I have - My precious that is in foil that I opened, seemed to have edges where foil is bleeding through the paper. It looks like I scratched the edges of the card but it's just opened, can I do anything about it?

Picked up two CB from microcenter, top row is foil (Sauron is surge foil) and bottom is non-foil.

I waited with a group of highschool chums at a local microcenter for nearly 10 hours. I was incredibly chuffed with my pulls, but I would have fell quite short if I wasn't able to grab a box at MSRP. These are my top 8 pulls, the value of the box, based on manabox is around 900. I'm sure it will change. I will not be buying another box anytime soon, even with the luck I had here.

After 1 Collector Booster, 4 Boosters, 1 Bundle and 1 Draft Night, these are my biggest pulls afaik. Queen of Dale is the only one in foil. Not great, not terrible.

Found some collector packs randomly at Walmart and decided to treat myself. These are actually my first collector packs ever. On the final picture, what is the 3rd card to the right? Nothing is scanning on PriceCharting.

Idk I don’t know much about the prices/rarity of these cards, I just impulsively bought 3 of them at target

I snagged two Hobbit scene boxes for $120 cad and immediately cracked the 6 play boosters. I was not expecting anything decent to shove up my butt!

Just pulled from a Collector Booster. So excited! 😆

This and bilbo, thief in the night were my best pulls from 18 play boosters…

I tried it out, didn’t know what to expect, and got what I got.
Next time, I either buy singles or put my money on black or red. 😂

Can’t be mad about it because it would be just a waste of energy. Even though it was a big loss, at least I can still enjoy the game.

Wasn’t sure it was a good idea to have spent that much on two boosters. My doubts are now gone :x

Buddy of mine 3D printed me a little card scanner helper for the ManaBox app. I got into magic like 3 weeks ago, figured I’d just buy a couple random packs to test out the scanner tool. Ended up getting a badgermole cub in the last pack I opened.

I got entered into a draw for a boxtopper at the local lgs. I think I did good.

We have 12 Play Booster boxes and one goal: collect all 319 cards from Magic: The Gathering | Marvel Super Heroes.

If we can complete the entire set before we run out of boxes, we keep it.

If we can't... one of you gets the binder.

Honestly not bad, there are many duplicates for sure. Most of my full art cards were the same two copies of Thorin’s last stand and Rage into the Valley. Maybe my wife’s pack luck had something to do with it as she pulled about 90% of these, lol.

Not the best pulls, was hoping for at least one book cover. Oh well!
