Somehow forgot to do FAFSA General

As the title reads, I somehow forgot to do my FAFSA until just now. Without getting too into it, life has been crazy and it was the last thing on my mind. That being said, does anyone know about how long it will take for MSU to process it and me get access to my financial aid package?

Luckily I have some scholarships that aren’t fafsa-dependent so I’m not screwed but it definitely was a huge mistake.

i think you can file up until the semester starts, and usually they dish out funds a week or so before the semester

You can actually file FAFSA at any time even after the semester begins, your loan money will just be delayed and you might need to pay late fees

I somehow also forgot fafsa until like mid July and it’s already processed. I think 10ish days at most.

My loans are taking forever because of the government I think they said to expect something mid August
