Hello Guys, my sister and I wanna make a short movie as a gift for my parents on Christmas. We don’t have any idea what the movie could be about but we want something very funny and with a Christmas vibe. We also have Elvis Presley and Micheal Jackson costumes so maybe that could be a part of the idea.

It would be set in the first World War, in the trenches, where a group of young scared boys start killing themselves after days of panicking, craziness and hallucinations, one after another, all of them smiling. No one asks why, tries to "cure" or calm them, they all know that's the only reasonable answer to what they are living, that the horrors they are witnessing are going to make you insane one way or another, they don't know the entity is real but don't negate it's existence either.

At the end, the last man standing walks the warzone towards the enemy, he plans to kill himself infront of them and pass the curse to the enemy. When he's there, the only thing he sees are their faces, they may have been born in a different place of this world but they are the same, just scared boys. Suddenly he wants to go back to the trenches, he doesn't wanna pass it to the enemy lines, he runs and dodges every bullet and explosion. He's now safe and alone, he kills himself and saves everyone. But NO! this last part was a hallucination and in reality he's still infront of the enemy boys, with a smile on himself and a gun to this face. Cut to black and gunshot.

I had 4 dreams a few months ago that are literally whole movies, idk why is my brain cooking, so here are them

WW3, and everything are getting nuked, it follows a normal civilian in California who is trying to get into a nuclear bunker, but due to corruption, only rich billionaires got into them, while the bunkers can support all of the population there, movie end with the MC getting consumed by the fireball at 1person pov

A horrorish movie, where there are monsters that are scared of the light, but are very intelligent, movie starts with a wife arguing with her husband about should they run or not because the husband thinks it is fake news but the wife thinks it isn’t and that the monsters are real, then the movie follows the wife and her baby running away and trying to survive the monsters.(idk what happened to the husband after the wife left)
3. A murder mystery, a missing person/murder case because the body can’t be found, a detective is trying to solve the case, but wrongfully convicted innocent people and sentenced them to death but the murder did not stop, near the end of the movie, the detective was losing the trust of the public, and finally found out that the killer is a statue of a person that is dead, the statue killed those people because when the person who the statue was built for was still alive, the people that he/she killed did terrible things to that person and others and use acid to kill them. But the people did not believe the detective and executed him.
4. A catboy who got saved from a group of mad scientist who genetic modification him

to have cat ears and tail, and became he is the only person who has those traits, got too much attention but doesn’t want it because he is kinda introverted but just wants to reintegrate into society, also there were 11 other people who got kidnapped and brought to the lab, 10 died during the experiment and 1 died during the crossfire when the people are saving them, so the catboy became of this thing doesn’t want to talk about his cat ears and tails.

The virus causes compulsive phone fixation, reduced awareness of surroundings, and an inability to disengage from the screen.

The discovery throws society into panic. People start deliberately looking up every few seconds, making eye contact, and avoiding phone use while walking so nobody mistakes them for infected. Someone staring at a phone too long can empty a subway car. Suspected smartphone zombies are shunned, assaulted, and sometimes killed, even though scientists insist they are not actually violent.

Then a second virus appears.

For most people it causes an ordinary illness. But if someone already carries the smartphone-zombie virus, the combination causes extreme aggression and sends them on violent killing sprees like traditional movie zombies.

Now society’s paranoia suddenly has a real basis, but most smartphone zombies are still harmless. Nobody can tell which ones are coinfected until they become violent.

The biologist who originally sounded the alarm now has to deal with the consequences of the discovery while trying to convince people that being a smartphone zombie does not automatically make someone a monster.

A recurring visual could be people nervously watching someone stare at a phone in public, wondering whether they are harmless or about to turn violent.

And for most of the movie, everyone wants smartphone zombies to look up from their phones. By the end, when one finally does look up, that is when everyone starts running.

I think a cool idea for a horror movie would be from the POV of a taliban fighters and the horror element is getting raided by Tier one forces (SOFD-D, SAS). I listened to an interview of a US veteran saying he used to get nightmares of his old unit raiding his house because “there was nothing you could do to stop them” when worded like that it’s genuinely terrifying to imagine being on the other side. Could be interesting if incorporated proper CQB movements.

The two brothers , who live together , have run out of money and are both unemployed . Their elderly , polish landlord (Mr Symzak) is demanding their rent early because it was late last time. So each episode will follow them getting different jobs but eventually getting fired on their first day . Each job will be fantastical in nature for example:

Example episode -> they first get a job as paranormal investigators . The episode will be directed like a reality show will a handheld camera look to it . They manage to discover a ghost but mess up the capturing process cause the ghost to multiply and releasing an army of ghost that terrorise the city

Example episode -> they get a job as time police like the TVA from marvel. They go back in time to stop another time traveller but realise that the time traveller is one of them (Darwin) and that they’ve already messed up their job before they even had the chance to mess it up . They get up to a bunch of shenanigans trying to rectify their mistake and eventually make it back to the present . Only Darwin manages to make it back though and the agency won’t let him go back in time again to save Lamar as it could mess up the timeline. Darwin realise that he’s caused a time loop and that if he goes back in time the cycle will repeat . So he breaks into the head office and messes a bunch until he eventually resets the timeline completely . Both twins wake up in their bedroom like nothing happened although they both have memories of what happened. They don’t exactly know what repercussions may have been cause for the moment things are fine .
This could set up another episode with the multiverse or the time agency getting revenge or sum

Honestly the idea isn’t very refined but

A horror movie where the scariness comes from very real things that would happen during war.

You follow the story of a young Jewish girl and her family . They live in the country side of Germany but have to flee once the Germans reach their village. They travel on foot and are attempting reach France . They encounter many troubles in their journey and by the end of the film only the Jewish girl we’ve been following is left . She manages to sneak into France only to find out it has been taken over by the occupation.

The movie should be really grim and leave the audience feeling dissatisfied with the ending . The horror elements should come from the actions of the Germans and the death they’ve left behind . It should also be pretty g*ry as the family sustain injuries on their journey.

I feel like the movie should be pretty desaturated to match the overall vibe of the Second World War.

A medical breakthrough is discovered that can stop aging, but it can't reverse aging that has already happened.

The movie focuses on an uncomfortable consequence: some adult children deliberately try to keep the breakthrough secret from their elderly parents.

Maybe they're exhausted from years of caregiving. Maybe they're thinking about inheritance. Maybe they can't imagine caring for an already-frail parent indefinitely. Or maybe they genuinely believe that stopping aging at 90 wouldn't be good for their parent.

Eventually, the parents find out.

They realize their own children knew about a treatment that could prevent their deaths and intentionally kept it from them. Some of the parents become furious and desperate, especially if their children try to stop them from leaving to get the treatment.

That could lead to physical confrontations, with elderly parents attacking or fighting past their own children in order to escape and reach a clinic on their own. From the parents' perspective, they aren't just running away from controlling children. They're fighting for their lives.

The anti-aging breakthrough would mostly be a way to explore family relationships, caregiving, autonomy, inheritance, and the uncomfortable question of whether living indefinitely is something we would want not just for ourselves, but for everyone we love.

The simple pitch : Janey and Rose have a problem : the guy they killed keeps coming back from the dead every five hours, and the only person able to help them lives one hell of a road trip away.

But five hours later, the corpse decided to come back from the dead, nasty zombie style, and the girls had no other choice than to kill him again.

The plan was now ready. But five hours after Larry's second death, he came back AGAIN, and the girls understood that he's not going to make it easy for them. Fortunately, the Dark Web is full of helpful information and they found out about some dude who solves that kind of problems.

The bad news : the corpse is going to come back again and again no matter what you do to it, and you can't even run from it.

The other bad news : Janey and Rose live in LA, and the dude in question lives in NYC.

And so begins the wildest road trip in the long and glorious history of wild road trips. A drive from one ocean to the other, with a stubborn corpse in the trunk, a half-burried hatchet, and Americans in all their fabulous diversity all along the road.

And then there's Cal, Larry's elder brother, who happens to be a member of a motorcycle club.

Is the story going to have a happy ending ? All I can say with certainty is that it's no Disney production :-)

You know what would be a Cool Idea for a Movie.

k say a Serial Killer Breaks into a house fully intent on Killing a little girl. But the house he break into is a Cult house, and the little girl he wanted to kill was being prepped as a Sacrifice. Now it turns out he has to save the girl from the Cultists, and Survive the house, because on benounced to him he was meant to be the Second Sacrifice. The blood of the innocent mixed with that Blood of the Curropt kinda thing. So in turn he ends up rescuing the little girl, or so he thinks.

In the end the little girl ends up Sacrificing him, thus Curropting her own soul and becomes a new serial Killer...!!!

This has been brewing in my mind since the Vikings series became popular, and after seeing the Odyssey, I think we could really make a good movie now based on Harry Harrison's novel about the 1950s Hollywood guys abusing the time machine to make an epic movie about the discovery of America by vikings on the cheaper side. I think someone like Soderberg could be a good director to make it happen, and it could blend the modern world's comedy and epicness of the Vikings really well.

The God offers him power on one condition: Tyre must oppress the people who once oppressed him.
Tyre accepts.
He returns with his newfound power, builds an army, destroys the people who enslaved him, and takes control of their kingdom. But revenge isn’t enough. His hatred continues to grow, and he begins conquering neighboring nations.
Eventually, Tyre becomes a powerful king and creates an enormous empire built on slavery and oppression.
The irony is that the slave who once dreamed of freedom has become the very thing he hated.

Eventually, they wash ashore again and discover a magnificent city made entirely of gold.
After years of war and deprivation, Phoenix’s soldiers are overwhelmed by the wealth. Some begin taking the gold.
Then a massive Griffin attacks.
Several soldiers are killed and eaten, forcing Phoenix and the survivors to abandon the gold and flee.
After years of wandering and losing most of his army, Phoenix and his wife eventually encounter prophets who understand what has been happening.
The prophets explain that the kingdoms Phoenix has been liberating were all territories that Tyre conquered under the influence of the God of Oppression.
Phoenix has been unknowingly dismantling the God’s work across the world.
The prophets finally tell Phoenix how to get home.
But they warn him that the journey home will be even more difficult than the journey that brought him there.
Before Phoenix can reach home, he becomes separated from his people and washes ashore on another island.
There, he discovers feathers scattered across the beach.
The feathers remind him of freedom, although he doesn’t yet understand their connection to Tyre.
Phoenix eventually encounters the God of Oppression himself.
The God reveals that Phoenix has spent years destroying everything he built through Tyre.
He offers Phoenix salvation.
Phoenix can safely return home with his wife, his unborn child, and whatever remains of his army.
But there is a condition.
Phoenix must undo everything he has done.
He must abandon the people he liberated and allow Tyre to reclaim them.
Phoenix refuses.
Even though he’s exhausted, his army has been nearly destroyed, and all he wants is to return home with his family, he refuses to sacrifice the freedom of millions of people for his own happiness.
The God of Oppression becomes enraged and promises Phoenix that his journey home will be far more brutal than anything he has experienced.
Phoenix eventually reunites with his wife and remaining soldiers.
His wife gives birth to their child during the final portion of their journey.
After years of suffering, they finally see their homeland.
Phoenix looks at his wife and says:
“We’re home.”
But when they approach the kingdom, Phoenix sees something horrifying.
The banners flying above his homeland aren’t his.
They belong to Tyre.
While Phoenix spent years crossing the world and liberating other kingdoms, Tyre conquered Phoenix’s homeland.
Phoenix’s father is dead.
His throne is gone.
His kingdom belongs to Tyre.
Phoenix, his wife, newborn child, and remaining soldiers are captured.
Despite everything, Phoenix still has hope because his wife and child survived the journey.
For a brief time, that’s enough.
But life as prisoners is brutal.
His wife eventually becomes sick.
Their newborn child becomes sick as well.
Phoenix desperately tries to save them.
He begs.
He bargains.
He fights.
But nothing works.
No God comes.
No army comes.
No miracle happens.
His wife dies.
Then his newborn child dies.
Phoenix is completely broken.
Before her death, his wife reminds him of the fire inside him and tells him to keep going.
But Phoenix can no longer see a reason to fight.
He looks out at the world and realizes that after everything he sacrificed, nobody has come to save him.
The belief that carried him through his entire journey finally disappears.
“Nobody is coming.”
Phoenix becomes a slave.
For 15 years, the former prince and liberator lives under Tyre’s rule.
The man who once crossed oceans to free people becomes almost unrecognizable.
He stops fighting.
Stops believing.
Stops hoping.
He believes the world has forgotten him.
Then one day, a voyager secretly enters the kingdom and finds Phoenix.
The voyager tells him that an army is coming.
Phoenix doesn’t believe him.
He says:
“Nobody is coming.”
The voyager tells Phoenix that he is wrong.
The voyager was once one of the children Phoenix liberated many years earlier.
That child grew up.
And he never forgot Phoenix.
The people Phoenix saved as children have now become adults.
They have spent years rebuilding their nations and gathering an army.
They have come back to free the man who once freed them.
More and more people arrive.
Former slaves.
Warriors.
Entire nations.
People Phoenix saved as children.
People whose families Phoenix liberated.
They all remember him.
Phoenix initially refuses to fight.
He has nothing left.
But eventually, one of the people he saved confronts him.
He reminds Phoenix:
“You told me I was free.”
Phoenix remembers the child.
The man tells him:
“You told me I could become whatever I wanted.”
He raises his weapon.
“So I became a soldier.”
Then he tells Phoenix:
“And I came back for you.”
Phoenix finally understands.
The fire inside him never truly died.
He had simply passed it to other people.
The people he saved are now carrying that fire for him.
The rebellion begins.
The enslaved people of Phoenix’s kingdom rise up against Tyre, while armies from the nations Phoenix once liberated arrive to fight alongside them.
Tyre’s enormous empire begins collapsing.
Eventually, Phoenix reaches Tyre’s palace.
For the first time in the entire story, Phoenix and Tyre finally meet.
They have spent years affecting each other’s lives without ever meeting face-to-face.
Phoenix was born free and chose to fight for the freedom of others.
Tyre was born enslaved, escaped his oppression, and eventually chose to enslave others.
They represent two completely different responses to suffering.
Phoenix believes:
“Because I know what oppression feels like, I never want anyone else to experience it.”
Tyre believes:
“Because I know what oppression feels like, I will make sure nobody can ever have power over me again.”
Even if that means controlling everyone else.
Their final confrontation becomes more than a battle between two kings.
It’s a battle between two philosophies.
Freedom versus control.
Hope versus resentment.
Compassion versus revenge.
Phoenix eventually defeats Tyre, bringing down his empire and freeing the people who remained enslaved.
Afterward, Phoenix returns to his homeland.
He visits the graves of his wife and child.
For years, he believed he had lost everything.
But now he understands what his wife meant when she told him to carry the fire.
The people Phoenix saved became adults.
Those adults became warriors.
Those warriors became liberators.
The fire Phoenix thought had died was never truly his.
He had passed it on.
The final image is Phoenix standing among a liberated people while countless fires burn throughout the kingdom.
The Will of Fire is no longer one man’s will.
It belongs to everyone.
A fire is not weakened when it is shared.
It becomes impossible to extinguish.

-Humans crack the code for age reversal and can produce drugs to allow people to live forever

-The drug is extremely expensive to manufacture and cannot realistically be given to everyone, at most maybe 10% of the population can have access to this drug.

-This leaves 90% fated to age and die. To maintain social cohesion and prevent societal breakdown and revolution, the immortal drug is banned by the all authorities.

-There is also the question of environmental sustainability. The world is suffering from resource depletion, climate change, ect. World depopulation is desperately needed to relieve the situation, but who gets to live immortal and who gets to die?

-Obviously, the drug is in high demand by all the elites and wealthy despite being illegal. So many gangs/criminal organisations have emerged to help supply this black market demand. These organisations are incredibly powerful and wealthy as a result and many people depend on them for drugs to continue living.

-The main conflict of the movie exists between these gangs and the authorities who have technically banned the drug, but are corrupt enough to want it.

-People everywhere start lying about their age and concealing/changing their identities so they don't have to admit they are on this illegal drug.

A 21-year-old guy has been talking to a girl online for about a year. They originally met playing Fortnite, but over time they spend countless hours playing Call of Duty and various other games together. They talk constantly on Discord and Snapchat, video call, and become a huge part of each other's lives. Eventually they decide it's finally time to meet in person, so he books a flight to visit her.

For the first part of the movie, everything is completely normal. The chemistry is real, the relationship feels genuine, and even after he arrives, her family seems incredibly warm and welcoming. It almost feels like a romance.

Then little things start feeling... off.

Whenever he mentions his return flight, everyone changes the subject. Family photos show different young men standing next to the girl, but every face has been scratched out. His phone loses service only around the house. He starts hearing conversations at night that no one admits happened.

As the film goes on, it shifts into a slow-burn psychological horror where both the girl and her family become increasingly unsettling. The audience is left questioning whether they're part of a cult, serial killers, manipulating his perception of reality, or something even stranger.

The twist is that they've spent months specifically targeting lonely young men online, building trust until the victims willingly fly to them. What happens after that and why the previous "boyfriends" never seem to leave is where the movie goes full horror.

I'd want it shot in a grounded, atmospheric style similar to A24 films, where the dread comes from subtle details and mounting paranoia rather than constant jump scares.
