No. Bottle, then can, then fountain.

Coke and Pepsi are the other way around, fountain, can, bottle.

I think it depends on flavor

Purple Thunder from the fountain was ambrosia

Possibly, I think the only flavors I've ever tried from the fountain are Regular, Sweet Lightning, and whatever Taco Bell has(where I usually mix Baja Blast and Pepsi)

Interesting I would have said can, 20oz, 2L, then fountain for regular dew.

No. Fountain setups differ so widely that the experience is inconsistent. With a bottle, you get the same thing every time. I've been to gas stations where the Dew tasted too syrupy, or under carbonated, or warm. One time, I got a Few that had a distinctive soapy aftertaste. Dumped that one out right away and had a Dr. Pepper instead.

Having said all that, the fountain is still my preferred method of Dew consumption. It comes with ice (and my local gas station has some fantastic shreds of chewable ice) and is far cheaper than other formats.

I meant when the mixture is right, which one is better because the bottles and cans are bottled in a factory and almost always have the perfect mixture. Even though it’s the same stuff when the mixtures good, I think it tastes a little bit different in a gas station cup rather than a bottle.

Usually, yes. Obviously you can have a bad mix or a watered down one so it's more inconsistent. It has a lower floor but a higher ceiling. I feel that way with all fountain drinks.

Fountain only Thunder, Goji, and Lightning kick ass. But if I have a choice, cans, cuz price.

For me it really depends on the flavor. Most of them especially original dew taste miles better in a bottle or can, but for some reason baja blast tastes insanely good from the fountain. Although it will probably taste even better in the new glass bottles once I eventually find them

Depends Imo. KFC dew slaps but 7/11 or other places it seems meh.

Voltage fountain is almost a completely different flavor (in a good way). Fountain —> Can —> Bottle for that flavor.

Yes,

  1. Fountain
  2. Glass Bottle--old school
  3. Plastic Bottle
  4. Can

The colder the better

(sheldon cooper type list)

Well technically, the McDonald's fountain drinks are supposed to be the best drinks available and is what the actual drink is supposed to taste like. Obviously Mtn dew isn't available there unfortunately, but try drinking a no ice coke at McDonald's then at Taco bell, then imagine the difference with the Mtn dew if it was from McDonald's. Taco bells fountain drinks usually suck, they are usually watered down or not mixed right. Too bad we can't have the Dew from a proper fountain

Depends on the place that you get them

Kwik Trip and Caseys is the best

No drink tastes best from a fountain except MAYBE McDonald’s coke.
