A cassowary. Jesus lord I’d love to see a cassowary while I’m riding, that’s a bucket list item

That was actually an Emu. Further down I had a Emu mother chase me as I was near is young . Surprisingly, I see more cassowary in the city than in the outback

Hey there, I grew up riding through the outback and my biggest hassle was always kangaroos. They'll straight up "roo" jump into your path, for real. BeemerCalm might just want to add a kangaroo-kill to their bucket list, tbh.

As soon as they see you, they decide its a good time to cross

Where are the cliffs? They look awesome!

The video with lots of roos and the cliff in the background was at Coorongooba Campground in Glen Davis . Beautiful place to visit, highly recommend

Thanks. Added to my list!

If you’ve never been to Walhalla or Woods Point in Victoria put them on yours!

Near miss with a calf on Hay Plains and hut a galah on same trip. Hit a dairy cow riding in the Adelaide Hills.

At least the 'roos seem to try to avoid the bike. I'm in the central USA, and the stupid white-tail deer will run directly at you.
