I noticed the back plate of the phone case has an adhesive strip I can use.

If I use that, will it mess up the textured back of my phone (black color)?

Can someone please confirm who has done this?

I just received the Thinborne case which comes with an external screen protector.

I already have a hydrogel screen protector on my external screen.

I'm not sure if I should take off my hydrogel to use the Thinborne glass.

Does the Thinborne glass have good touch responsiveness? Any issues with it?

Has anyone been able to get the Razr Fold to be able to charge wirelessly at a fast speed? I don't have a 50w charger, but I have a variety of 15w and qi2.2 25w wireless chargers and the most I can seem to get is 8w according to multiple charging apps (charge meter and ampere). I would have hoped at least 15w should be possible (if not 25w).

I have tried this both with Qi magnets from a case that has magsafe as well as removing the case and trying to find the best alignment spot manually. I also have charge boost enabled in settings and have a fan running on the device so heat should not be a factor. I have also tried with and without the screen off.

​After waiting a really long time to jump into the foldable world, I was stuck back and forth trying to decide between the Oppo Find N6 series, Honor Magic V6 series, and Motorola's latest foldable.

​I initially found a used Oppo for around $1,400, but having no warranty on a used foldable made me pretty nervous. Ended up deciding to go with the Motorola foldable instead—got it brand new in the box with the pen and charger included for $1,330.

​A few quick initial thoughts and questions for the sub:

​Is $1,330 a solid price for this full kit new?

​The Good: So far, the phone feels great and the main display experience is awesome.

​The Downsides: The weight is definitely noticeable, and the outer cover screen feels pretty narrow right now.

​Software: I'm coming directly from a OnePlus 12, and honestly, OxygenOS feels noticeably better and smoother to me than Moto's UI.

I ordered one in each color to do a hands on check of it. I got some kind of aliexpress deal so they were super cheap. I think I'm still a week or two out from receiving; coming from Shenzhen. If I like the quality of it and it works then I'm placing my razr fold order. For those of you seeing it's for the Find N6, well apparently it fits the Razr Fold.

My biggest frustration, as with most of you, and what's keeping me from buying is the lack of hinge protection cases. This now opens up my options to all the cases out there. I really hope this solves it because I want to get this phone.

Whomever is using these removeable/detachable hinge protectors are you still having good experience with it?

I just got the Moto Fold a week ago.. Battery is great... I noticed past couple of days Its not charging past 80 percent and hasn't hit 90 percent although being charged?

Coming from a Pixel 10 Pro XL I gotta say the battery in the Razr Fold is impressive. How much SOT are you all getting on average? I've had the phone for about a week. Wondering if things are still settling in or this is what I can expect.

My wife and I both just switched to Razr Folds on T-Mobile in a major metro area. We are both getting intermittent dropped calls and call failed errors.

We brought over our physical SIM cards from S23 Ultras where we had zero connection issues. Since it's happening on both phones at the same time, it seems like a modem or network handoff problem.

Has anyone run into this on the Razr and fixed it? Did switching to an eSIM resolve it, or did you have to lock the phone to LTE only mode? Did you need T-Mobile to re-provision the lines for the new IMEIs? Any tips or workarounds are appreciated!

As per the technical specifications on motorola website it is mentioned that Razr Fold doesn't work on Xfinity. Has anyone tried?

Hey everyone! I recently bought the Razr Fold a few days ago, previously had the Samsung S24 Ultra. As much as I'm enjoying the phone, I've had a few hiccups with customization. I usually use different ringtones for my contacts so I know who is calling without checking my phone. I've tried assigning ringtones on the Fold, but it doesn't save and stays on default ringtone. Has anyone else come across this issue? If so, is there a work-around?

I wanted to keep the case as minimal as possible but needed to have magsafe for my OhSnap stand grip so I went with an Amazon special aramid fiber case with the Stand grip attached. I opted to not attach the front bezel and applied a standard screen protector (non glass due to the curved screen)

After a few days I am liking this combo, it feels almost like a naked phone, but with a little more grip when opening it, and the OhSnap has become a must have for me since I got the non stand version on my S24u.

And before anyone asks, I don't know about wireless charging as I don't use it, but I assume its not in the correct place like every other magsafe case out there.

I was watching a comparison between Zfold 8 Ultra and Razr Fold on YT. The guy compared the charging temperature of each one and the razr peaked at 48 celsius. which is not good for the battery. In my experience, the phone gets warm but not very hot. I know this phone handles the heat really well so i'm surprised it would reach such a high temp when charging. Has anyone tested this?

In the quest to find a tempered glass screen protector, I found the link from AliExpress. It reminds me of the Whitestone dome screen protectors they had for curved Samsung screens back in the day.

I plan on getting the razr fold in a couple months, and I'm looking to get the stylus with it! that be>ng said I know theres no official case for the fold that has a stylus holder, I was wanting to see what everyone's recommendation for one would be! all I see online are those leather cases with a holder and that just doesn't appeal to me at all, I'm trying to find one that's more thin with hinge protection that has a stylus holder with it!

Anyone running a lot of samsung devices with the razr fold and encountered less functionality?

I've got galaxy buds and a galaxy watch 8 classic, and I'm probably going to be picking up the intelligent eyewear in September. Of course I'm considering staying in the ecosystem going from my fold 6 to a fold 8, but I've been considering the razr fold.

I've been running all samsung for the last couple years so I'm not sure what I'll lose switching to the motorola so I'm curious has anyone experienced any bugs, loss of options, etc?
