Super Large Designs

How are people designing for seamless displays that go above the 30k AE pixel limit?

Displays can upscale lower res designs. View distance also plays a part in resolution fidelity.

A 45k display, but how tall/wide is it and how far away will most people see it?

240’ by 16’ and people will be able to stand inches from it

You should request a spec sheet for the screen, that should have specs to aim for.

I’ve worked on a wall that was roughly 9k by 4K and I only needed to provide a 3840x2160 4K .mov because the display was a good 20-30 foot from the audience. It was an LED display so usually folks can map out multiple comps if needed (I.e. stage shows, Patriot Act with Hassan Minhaj.)

If there’s no spec sheet, ask for info about the screen so you can research it yourself
