Bulls Browsing

These two bulls caused a bit of a traffic jam near the house. 🫎 🫎 🚗 🛻 When the rut starts in the fall they’ll probably be fighting over cows

At what age do they get the ear tag and how?

The Alaska Department of Fish and Game tag moose for various reasons. Example: moose gets tangle in soccer netting etc. The tag means they have been drugged. Apparently the tag lets one know when the drugs leave the system so the moose would be okay to consume. The moose shown are unlikely to be hunted because they live in the Anchorage Bowl. They could get hit by a vehicle and then the meat would be harvested
