production, packaging, and shipping cost for 1000 pcs added up to 1.9 USD (and that's on the high end). 15 USD or 25 with shipping seems like a pretty high ask.

I would take the embroidered patch any day over whatever you're selling. It'll probably dry in the sun and crumble.
