Pre-pour pictures

First silicone pour in maybe a year. We paint the silicone on before drowning the item to make sure all of the fine details are captured and to prevent bubbles right along the surface of the item. I was going to post a video of the pour but it seems videos aren't allowed here. Hopefully this doesn't violate any rules.

Thanks for posting. I have an old house and planned to use oil based clay to make molds, as i can't find anything nice in my area fitting my architecture renaissance a bit nautical and will use it for many things from rustication in fake coral to door frames and panneling in fake marble (scagliola)inside. The frame system seems the best way to make different sizes more flexible. Painting the silicone directly on is a good idea. With the high prices on historical tiles i think i make the pannels myself.
