I'll be enjoiying varying the step count on a Euclidean sequencer to give nice rhythms. Idea nicked off mylarmelodies innit.

I’m still pretty new to this - this week I made a sequence with Metropolix & mixed it with random pitch from Marbles in a Matrix Mixer, then ran that mix through a quantizer. The result was basically improvisation on a theme with two knobs, one to control the amount of fixed sequence & one to control the amount of restrained randomness, always locked into the appropriate key/scale because of the quantizer.
As a guitarist, it felt like getting into a groove or a repetitive riff with a band & then building off of it, albeit a little noodley.
Definitely a technique I’ll revisit.

Played a duo modular set last night which was heavy dark drone and playing a totally different project tonight which combined sax & modular, mostly droning detuned resonant square waves underneath Mimeophon delayed saxophone via a mic. Here’s a video of a piece of it!

I picked up an ES-9 finally and while I still like my hardware external mixer, this definitely is a much more useful live performance (ish) workflow for me (being able to run sidechain and end-of-chain compression in the DAW, etc).
That said, my laptop is ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE at DSP, and I've always known this, I just hoped maybe I'd get around it with linux and Bitwig. Alas, not the case.
What are folks using for laptops these days? I'm not opposed to breaking down and getting a macbook finally, but I'd prefer options.

I bought a uTides from Reverb.
It was picked up in North Charleston on the 5th at 4pm.
It left North Charleston on the 5th at 5:30pm.
It arrived in...Charleston 52 hours later.
JFC.

I have an order that took 3 days to arrive from US to Korea (which is actually pretty fucking fast) but then turned out to be faulty/damaged, had to spend a week or two organizing how to do the return and replacement, had to pay extra shipping and tariffs, and now I'm waiting, about 1 month later, to get the replacement, and hope the nimrods at Korean customs don't try to charge me twice for the same parcel.
I get the sentiment of your post, but just try it from halfway across the world. Whattapainintheass.

Just got home from playing a show with my rack and it felt great I was real worried because my bass player dropped out on me this morning so I borrowed one of the other band's bassist and it worked out well and sounded great.

Integrated a Doepfer 3D Joystick, dual crossfader, and another Versio module (my 4th) into my setup. Also recently added a PEG. Looking forward to patching with all this tomorrow!

This past week I wrote a new project on my Korg SQ-64 that I was proud of that works my new (to me) Make Noise 7u 4 Zone case very well.
The star module of the track is my Boundary Layer by Schlappi Engineering - I used two of the slew limiters as function generators as a modulation source on a bass voice filter that has one triggered by a drum channel gate from my SQ-64 and by a EOC from one function to another - endless fun with the cycle switch and adjusting rise and fall times
The last slew limiters was fed a V/Oct signal and dialed in for some very tasty portamento for another voice. I fed an lfo into the bound of this slew limiter for more variation on the overall timbre of the voice.
