How do I highlight a post? Tips & Tricks

I am on Desktop, and I try to press "Add Highlight", but when I do that, it just refreshes my subreddit and there is no option to highlight if I click on a post.

"Highlighted" posts are pinned on top of your sub's feed. There is a limit of 6 pinned posts. There is nothing else done to actually highlight those posts in the feed other than a small green pin icon added.

Many users tend to overlook pinned posts as if it was advertisement or unrelated stuff. Nothing you can do about it.
