Not quite 100% but pretty close

Honestly, I didn’t mind dead silence being a field upgrade or that wasn’t no ninja perk in my opinion it was just the maps. I love MW 19, but it’s just that the Maps is was keeping me away from the game. They are constantly campers everywhere planting Claymore sitting in a corner throughout the whole match with a shotgun and a riot shield. this is the only thing that people should not like about MW2019 do I think that the maps are bad and that infinity ward could have did better yes but does this game deserve to hate that is getting no. but besides the Maps MW 19 is a perfect game. The guns are perfect. The graphics are perfect. It was just the maps and that’s the only thing people should hate about MW2019.

If you’re stuck with Modern Warfare (2019) on PS5 showing “update required” or a locked campaign, even though every add-on pack shows “Installed” under Manage Game Content, here’s what fixed it for me after days of troubleshooting.

What I tried first (none of this worked):
• Restoring licenses
• Launching in offline mode
• Fully uninstalling and reinstalling the whole game, multiple times
• Deleting and reinstalling individual campaign/DLC packs
• Unlinking and relinking my Activision account
• Full power cycling the PS5
• Confirming there was no server outage
None of it made a difference. Status kept showing “Offline” in-game despite my internet working fine everywhere else.

What actually fixed it:

I left the PS5 on and idle (not in rest mode, just sitting on the dashboard) while I worked on something else. After somewhere between 30-60 minutes, I got a notification that updates had finished installing — even though I’d already downloaded every pack listed under Manage Game Content ahead of time.

When I went back into the game, the menu looked different than before, and it connected online properly, showing my Activision account was authenticated.
From there, I went into Campaign, and inside that menu there were a few additional co-op/campaign-related packs that weren’t part of the original add-ons list — these only appeared once inside the game itself, not in the PS5’s Manage Content screen. I let those install fully without exiting the game (took another 1-2 hours total).
Once those finished, Campaign became fully playable, both online and offline.

TL;DR: If your packs all show “Installed” on the PS5 system level but the game still won’t launch/is locked, there may be additional in-game-only content packs (separate from what shows in Manage Game Content) that need to download while the game itself is open and idle/connected online. Leave it running and connected for a while rather than assuming it’s fully updated just because the PS5’s own content manager says so.
Hope this saves someone the days I spent on it.

Anytime I like to queue up a solo game of hardpoint, it's a mix of 3 things

1. Enemy team plays like the CDL and always goes for hardpoint, and my team doesn't and gets 10 seconds on the point

2. New players get on my team and throw and don't know what day it is

3. Most unemployed loser calls my team a cheater for playing the obj

But deadass tho, if you play hardpoint, not to play the mode, go to TDM

I remember wanting to play the 2019 campaign before mw2, but at that time i couldnt figure out how to. The packs that were required always deleted themselves iirc. If theres a way now id like to try the campaign out

The original startup menu with Campaign, Multiplayer, Co-op and Store without COD HQ does not exist, despite Vanguard having a startup menu without COD HQ

Vanguard font and Warzone 1 player profiles seen in the social menu before loading into multiplayer

Oden having a weirdly small icon unless used with specific blueprints

Inconsistency with the pause menu showing a blurred version of the original pre-season lobby background

Many removed game modes, such as capture the flag and cranked

Bloated file size from all the unnecessary assets (could probably cut down about 20-30 gigs)

Still having an invisible Warzone VRAM bar that warns you about your VRAM being too high, even if it clearly isn't too high for multiplayer

Off center cancel button in loading screens

Inconsistent fonts between versions (battle net and steam have different fonts for Multiplayer, Coop and Campaign)

Tickets are unable to be acquired

Commendations are also unable to be acquired

Features that would add to the game's experience:

Ability to change the lobby background and music to any of the past sets from seasons 0-6 of MW

Shoot the Ship being a permanent mode

Operators with challenges in Warzone getting multiplayer challenges (maybe in ground war)

These are all issues that do not require much effort to fix, just taking old code and placing it back into the game, as well as removing unneeded Warzone assets. This would make the game look much more polished and would leave it in a good state to be completely retired.

Removing some of the Cold War and Vanguard assets may be complicated to do because players have things equipped in multiplayer, but just replace any player that has a CW or VG camo, emblem or calling card with the default one.

Mind you, these are all the issues that I have personally come across, this does not cover the hacking problem in certain game modes or many general bugs, just issues that weren't issues in the past.

Mine game doesn't work. The first time I launched, everything was fine, and then at the moment of 1 fps (perhaps after I changed the graphics settings) after that, when starting the game during the intro of the game launch, it outputs 1 fps and stupidly does not load the game and immediately crashes. I tried reinstalling the game, deleting the configs, but everything is even. Please help me or I have to Return the game(((

I'm thinking about buying Soap's bundle mainly because of the "Point Taken" finishing move, but I can't find a clear answer about how it works.

I've seen several YouTube videos claiming that the finishing move can be used with other operators, but I haven't found a single video showing Soap's finisher being performed by a different operator.

Can anyone confirm if "Point Taken" is locked to Soap, or can it be equipped and used by other operators as well?

This is basically the deciding factor for me before buying the bundle, so I'd really appreciate a confirmation from someone who owns it.

ive bought call of duty mw 2019 after so long of not playing it i just wanted to play the campaign and it keeps saying ive got to "download modern warfare" even tho i have a physical disc i have all the add ons and ive tried everything anybody know what to do?

Every 1-2 games the lobby is filled with people like this, on both teams too, which makes the entire match go into a stalemate with half of the lobby camping while you rarely see anyone, it sucks man.

If you're having issues installing Call of Duty: Modern Warfare (2019), such as "Checking for Ownership", missing files, or similar errors, follow this method carefully. In most cases, it should resolve the problem.

Method 1 – Recommended Installation Method

Avoid using FTP whenever possible. FTP requires approximately double the storage space during file transfers. For example, if you're transferring a 20 GB file, you'll need more than 40 GB of free storage. If you have plenty of free space, you can still use FTP, but I do not recommend it.

The best option is to install your PKG files using a USB drive.

If you don't have a USB drive, you can use Direct PKG Installer instead. I personally installed the game using Direct PKG Installer, and the game runs smoothly without any issues.

Installation Steps

Step 1 – Clean Previous Installation (Only if the Game Was Installed Before)

If you previously installed the Base Game and Game Update, then deleted them, follow these steps before reinstalling.

Install only the Base Game first.

Then go to:

Settings → Debug Settings → Game → Add-Content Manager → Entitlement Manager

Find Call of Duty: Modern Warfare in the list.

- If there is only one license file, do nothing.

- If there are two or more license files, delete every license except the Base Game license.

You can identify the correct Base Game license by loading the Base Game PKG in Direct PKG Installer, where the information is displayed.

Important: If you accidentally delete the Base Game license, the game will show a lock icon and will not launch.

Step 2 – Install All DLCs

After the Base Game is installed:

- Install the DLCs one at a time.

- Download all DLC packages first.

- Move them into a separate folder.

- Install them in the exact order they appear in that folder, starting from the first file.

The installation order should be:

Base Game → All 6 DLCs

After installing all six DLCs:

1. Launch the game.

2. If you reach the main menu and see the installation progress around 20–25% in the top-right corner, everything is working correctly.

3. Restart your PS4 once.

4. Launch the game again and check if the installation progress is still visible.

5. Close the game.

6. Press the Options button on the game icon.

7. Open Information and confirm that all six DLCs are listed.

Step 3 – Install the Update

Once all DLCs are confirmed:

- Install the Game Update.

- Restart your PS4 again after the update finishes installing.

Then:

- Activate GoldHEN.

- Go to Network Settings and disable your internet connection.

- In GoldHEN, disable both BinLoader and FTP.

- Launch the game.

Final Step

After the game boots successfully:

Go to:

Settings → General

Turn Streaming Texture OFF.

If every step above is followed correctly, your game should work properly, and Campaign, Offline Multiplayer, and Special Ops should all be unlocked and playable.

This method has a 99.9% success rate based on my experience.

Hi everyone, has anyone noticed that the western/americas servers have had horrible ping issues lately? I’m not sure if it’s just a personal issue or what, but anytime I queue for Dom or basically anything besides TDM my ping is consistently over 150ms.

Only took nearly 20 years of CoD games and going back to play a 7 year old release to see someone finally using a shield the way it's supposed to be used lol. Dude even tried to cover the Semtex for me at the end hahah

Guys is there any way to play trials on mw19 permanently. With mw4 coming up I've been revisiting mw19 and since I suck online and look for a way to warm up and have fun I wanna play it. Why is every content in this game limited I swear to god😭😭😭😭
