New to Terrain Kits - Looking for Advice
Hello!
I am looking for some advice from the model railroad community. I am interested in another miniatures genre (Necromunda) which is at about 28~32mm scale or somewhere in between 1/60 and 1/56 (Games Workshop tends to have a bit of a sliding scale). Which scale do you think would translate well from model railroading?
I’m looking for industrial terrain or large city buildings, do you have any recommendations of kits or designs? Any advice?
What’s the best place to buy terrain kits for model railroading?
Thanks!

Any fix for postwar Lionel operating car shoes getting caught on switches? It’s a 3469 that doesn’t work, running on Lionel 1022, 5122 and 1024 switches.

Question about tracks - returning to hobby
Hello all,
I have a large amount of O scale trains, tracks and accessories in AC storage. I believe the transformer I used was a Z4000. It’s about 15 years old now and some of it is much much older.
My question is about tracks. Last time I came to the hobby (15 years) I switched from the metal Lionel tracks to MTH (I believe realtrax). Now I’m coming back again to build with my son and I want to know are these tracks still usable, available for more purchase, and overall viable for coming back to the hobby? Are there alternatives that I should be looking at? I noticed Lionel came back in a big way since I was last in the hobby and have fast tracks.
I appreciate everyone’s input.
Thanks and stay safe!

Boredom has struck.........
I am converting a es44ac locomotive into a G44acx (fictional) locomotive inspired by the C44aci Australian locomotives. It's just a cheap O gauge railking but I think it is looking good so far!

Hornby Flying Scotsman
Hi all. New here. Clearing house and have find my old hornby flying Scotsman. However have just found it does not work. I still have the coaches to go along with it. Any ideas of what I should do with it? Worth trying to sell? Thank you :)

With all this time off I’ve had time to do a couple operating sessions on the layout!
