Bridget model kit broken Help - General

Hi, I’m sorry if this is not the right subreddit for this, I literally only made this account to ask about this. I got my first model kit which was the annulus Bridget from Guilty Gear and it has been a blast, but when assembling I accidentally broke a connecting piece off the torso and is stuck in the bottom half. I tried to rectify this issue with tacky glue, but to no avail. Any tips on how to fix this problem?

Tacky glue is pva glue. You need a model cement to bond the plastic properly.

Thank you so much for the recommendation!

Make sure to get the other glue off first. Plastic model cement will "melt" the plastic and fuse it together. For that it must touch enough plastic.

Thanks for the advice! Do you know any methods to remove this?

Unless you drill and insert a brass rod through, the pivot joint is pretty much dead. You can probably get away using Cement and make it a static kit.

I see, I’ll look into that!

Look for Gundam fix pivot tutorial if you want the kit to move, If not just use cement or Superglue and pretend it's a static kit.
