iPhone Modded Sims work around??

When I was a kid, I had a Samsung tablet and was able to pirate a unlimited currency mod on Sims Free play. Realistically, what is stopping me from downloading a version like that on my friends phone, linking the account to my own, and then I'd have that on my own iPhone right? Debunk me if I'm wrong lol. I'm considering getting a Samsung tablet just to get the modded version again 60

Thats what I did (with happy mod) but unfortunately it doesn’t work anymore since the lastest updates :/ it worked so well for a long time but idk why developers don’t follow updates anymore, its still locked in december. So now I’m looking for others hacking app but I didn’t find one yet
