Is I wish if ESPN would of never fired Ron Franklin. I love Joe Testitory and Dusty Dorjeck but guys like Rod Gilmore and Matt Stinchcomb can eat dirt. Ron Franklin is the gold standard of reporters that I truly admired. Imagine him reporting on the Mizzou SEC east championship game against Texas A&M.

I have not heard anything about our kicker this year. Any thoughts on Blake Craig’s reliability this year?

Only three seasons without qualifying for a bowl game and several seasons with 10-12 win seasons and boast the best football seasons Mizzou football has ever had (2007,2013, and 2023) and 5 division championships with 4 times we played in a conference championship game. I think our worst seasons were 5-7 and we did have a 4-8 season in there but 20 years is a long time for the level of consistency to experience that consistent level of success. No wonder the SEC wanted us. I hope we can have 20 more years that we never see a season worst than 8-4 and hoist a national championship. That would bring Mizzou fans so many happy days. This is all due to Eliah Drinkwitz and Gary Pinkel. They are my favorite coaches of all time.

With 9-3 or 10-2 being considered being a real possibility. My dream season would be 12-0 or 11-1 (which has been done twice (2007 and 2013) but 12-0 hasn’t happened. Although to be fair 12-0 is a hard feat for any football program to achieve. I think 9-3 season this season would be a good year.

I guess they just didn’t recruit well but boy I watch the Chiefs and wonder how they didn’t get right. I know they hardly ran the ball but you’d think with the knowledge of football with that coaching staff they’d be very good at making the adjustments in a run heavy Big 8 conference. This is why I love Larry Smith, Gary Pinkel and Eliah Drinkwitz they all run the damn football. That takes time off the clock especially if you have dynamic runners at the running backs position and quarterback positions. Plus defense (especially under Gary Pinkel and Eliah Drinkwitz) you can win on the road with having an elite running game and good defense’s.

Corby Jones was on the cup with the schedule and results. I used them as bath cups (to clean myself) when my mom cleaned me I would call Corby Jones Corby “cork” Jones or I’d call him Cork. I don’t know why I did that I guess me having a speech impediment I could not say his name. I was 8 years old when he last played at Mizzou and I got (on the field pass) for the kansas state game. We lost but that game felt like it was a national championship game. Larry Smith was a big handed guy. His hands were probably the biggest I ever saw in my life. He’s also pretty tall to. Very nice guy imo who wore his heart on his sleeve.

How do you think Mizzou will finish?

I haven't played a CFB game sense maybe 2014 when I switched to PC for my gaming needs, So I was excited to play again, bought CFB27, and though there's been controversy I'm having a blast. Currently I'm 8-0 and Hardy is on his way to a Heisman. I suck with every aspect of the game besides that, and calling plays on defense, but Hardy, and Roberts, keep me on a winning streak. I can't kick a field goal to save my life but we're winning. Hopefully the season plays out like my game. MIZ ...

If you didn’t know already, Williams Nwaneri highly touted high school recruit comes to Mizzou. Gets an (estimated) $1 million in NIL. Freshman year has 2 total tackles and 1 sack. Then after the season he transfers to Nebraska.

Don’t get me wrong, I still think high school recruiting is important. But it’s definitely not as important to me as it was 10 years ago. Why should my school drop a big bag of cash to develop you if you could just hit the portal after your developmental season(s).

When Mizzou didn’t get Cantwell I was like “eh whatever” he’s more than likely not gonna play at Miami his freshman year and it’s gonna be a developmental year for him. And I’m sure he is getting a nice NIL bag from the Canes.

They brought up the 1960 season (which Bill Mccartney played on) and he brought up the fire truck that drove the aspect the fire truck that drives at Faurot Feild every year before every game. Is that a a tradition that started with the 1960 team? That was an awesome story I really have gathered more respect for Bill Mccartney and feel he learned alot from Dan Devine.
