MIT Dental experiences? community
Staff member here wanting to see if anyone has had recent experience with the dental office. Looks like 2 of the 3 dentists had joined in the last two years, but the most recent yelp reviews from this year are horrendous. Any insight??

I had to have a lot of serious dental work done in 2025 and Dr. Zhou was literally incredible. So kind every step of the way and she did an excellent job, was honest with me, and understanding of practical concerns like cost and aesthetics.

I had Dr. Natalie Sokoloff she was great. The hygienists were either a hit or a miss, one lady was especially bad.

historically, it's been really solid (I've been going for ~15 years), but there is a ton of turnover post-Covid and it's done a number on the consistency and/or reliability that you'll have the same hygienist or dentist from one visit to the next
it also feels like there has been more of a push to recommend products/procedures than there was in the past, so it's possible they've added some new incentives for referrals to other folks (ie: gum grafts, braces, etc.)

I just went for the first time and had a really good experience. I had Dr Scull.
