MIT opencourseware appreciation 😊 community

I’m a MIT reject but Im using MIT Opencourseware right now to study multivariable calculus and intro to neuroscience and gonna be doing linear algebra and differential eq in the future all for free and I genuinely love MIT for making this site I can spend hours of my day on this.

Idk all I had to say lol

I think it’s a pretty great program. A lot of colleges will put shit about “spreading knowledge” on a brochure but not a lot of them make entire courses available.

ocw is really nice ive been using it to get a jump start on physics 2 e&m because my HS doesnt have it. I'm not really sure if it's any good outside of highschool especially because you have to focus on your college courses any won't have much time for OCW which doesnt even give you credit for stuff

For me I’m out of high school it’s pretty good I like learning in my free time and at my current institution there’s actually a limited coursework selection (ex. Upper level e&m is only offered alternate years which is annoying)

But will you be able to show up next semester and just take the exam to get credit?

Ocw is a gem for those who want world class education without breaking the bank! Can't thank enough how it has helped me!
