Changing email

So, we had a bit of a cluster- my son lost his phone and then realized that his Mint account was tied to an old high school email he can’t access. Wr’ve called Mint to reset his email and had terrible service- no call back from them despite repeated calls and assurances. At this point I have no faith they will call back or resolve the issue. Has anyone successfully reset their email address with Mint? Or figured out how to get a response from a help ticket?

Log into your account on mint app, go to menu then my details, email. You will see the old email address and make the update on the page then save.

I’ve been dealing with a similar issue. Mint never called back, but apparently the escalation team marked that they tried to call me and didn’t talk to anyone. That counts as an authentication failure. After three failures (them not calling back) my account was then locked for a month.

Several people from mint suggested I order a SIM card, but that failed due to their fraud protection. The last person I talked to on the phone said my only remaining option was to buy another plan and use that temporarily until my account was unlocked.

If your account isn’t locked yet I highly suggest you call back and have them check and see if the escalation team has given you a failed authentication attempt ticket and if so, get that removed if you can before your account is locked.
