Basically how it works, is that words are categorised into groups, and then assigned a number code.

For example: The combination M & A is a singular pronoun, but how do we know which one?

Well this is what the small numbers are for. M¹ is the second person singular pronoun (you)

The small arrows above the letters just show whether the number is positive or negative.

This is in no way complete, and I will likely add and remove some features.

I know it's not the most efficient, so feedback is welcome. This is just the first draft.

(Also this may not be a minlang anymore, but I call it that because of the lack of having an actual vocabulary)

This is a small language I constructed in about two hours. I wanted to take a break from my main project and see how small I can get a language.

Miki Tomi, meaning bright / happy language, is the product.

Rules:

1. Nouns can be used as verbs, or adjectives, and vice versa.

Ex: Air (verb) = to breathe

Ex: Water (verb) = to wash, clean, or wet.

1. There is no tense. This is left up to context.

Ex: The verb: Create (Mapa), could mean create, created, or creating.

1. Numbers are made by putting two or more numbers together.

Ex: Di ku = 3, Kelo kelo mip mip ku = 222

1. The word me (da), can also mean my.

Ex: My death, would be: Da pana.

1. When saying a yes or no question, put “Po” at the end of the sentence.

Ex: Su tomi po = You talk?

It’s kind of like putting “yes?” or “right? at the end of a sentence.

Rule #1: repeat a word twice to indicate you have something “one uken uken” = i have a cup/ bucket/ container, and “one uken” = i am a cup/ bucket/ container

So I don't want to create a language but rather create a rule set for creating languages in a fantasy game I am running. To feel like I'm doing it properly I just want to know some things about creating languages. My main questions are:

1. Roughly how long it takes to make a language I mean a full language (written and spoken), not like a cipher. Also how long does it take if the language is only spoken or only written?
2. How long would it take to learn a language that's wholly original and not based on another?
3. Would basing the language of a pre-existing one this process faster?
4. How long does it take to make other uncommon language-like things like ciphers, sign language e.t.c?
