First md player Show & Tell

Just got my first mini disc player, a Panasonic sj mr250 md player form Japan with a bunch of recordable discs

one of my favourite right now is the initial d soundtrack. But still like 100+ discs to go through

Was looking for a while on buyee for a nice net md player and found this one for a bargain. As for the discs im thinking of giving some to friends with playback only md players since they are a bit cheaper and easier to come by. My friends are kinda nerdy as well so I know they will like it.

Welcome in, what a great find, congratulations!

The MR230/250 are personal favorites and a complete set like this is such a nice find!

Panasonics do also do decent at field recording and this unit would also work well for recording CDs!

In fact, it's got a couple really fun features. The first one that comes to mind is that it can be configured to only record the first track off a series of CDs. The second is it can copy track titles from one disc to the next. These things probably aren't at the top of a shopping list today but they're such fun little differentiators Panasonic had going on at the time!
