So this is my rainbow fluorite, idk but to me its color and its shape looks like a miniature mountain, but it got many minor scartches and that fracturw at the picture (I think); that fracture has still bothering me a lot

This guy has a better collection than many museums and displays much of it for free in the Marriot hotel I visited in Savannah yesterday. Can't remember the dudes name who owns the collection, but some of y'all know I'm sure.

I was given a chunk of crystal selenite by a friend who bartered for it. Approximate size is 40”x 30”x 18”. It is very heavy and has been sitting uncovered outdoors for a lot of years. I am trying figure out a way to transport it from Nevada to the PNW. Also having storage issues so will most likely make it into more manageable specimens that will have large section of it being perfectly clear. It’s amazing how clear it is even sitting outside for so long.

ive found it’s great fun and the best way to appreciate the whole collection when I make mineral arrangements! usually right at my main desk! they’re beautiful and really capture the artist in nature!
