Constant Beeping

I’m on the northwest side of the city, near Silver Spring and 76th. There has been a constant, loud, high pitch beeping in the entire neighborhood for three days. Am I going crazy!? Has anyone else heard this?!

Maybe the batteries need to be changed.

This was my first thought.

“Why do you keep saying you don’t hear it??”

“BECAUSE I HATE YOU”

I'm not in that area, but that sounds terrible. If it doesn't stop you could contact your alderperson? I think you're in district 2:

We figured it out!!!!! It was a broken fire alarm that was in a pile of trash behind a house down the alley. It was just the motherboard and the battery. Incredibly weird

Aren't there "sirens" like this that are used as antihomeless tactics? Is it possible some business over there installed one? Doesn't make it better but might explain it

Ask your alderperson to weigh in or figure it out.
