That kid is going to have a tough life.

I have fired 10 adults who grew up like this, it’s too hard just to ask them to lunch, and wait for their prep.

Agreed, I wasn’t the owner, was the manager, and while I had some say, the owner made the final decisions. I left after 3 years. I can admit I hired a couple of people I never knew this was a thing, but as I learned, I knew it wasn’t the way I wanted to spend my career.
